If we could give this appartment and its owner Sonia 100 points we'd do it with pleasure! The flat is conveniently located in one of the most authentic parts of Venice with the maze of quirky backstreets and charming shabby buildings. It's only 2 vaporetto stops from Piazza di S.Marco. Being placed so close to the heart of the city it can also boast lovely gardens, cafes and quite big shops. The appartment itself is nicely furnished in a unique style. What made our stay especially warm, was the host. Sonia met us and showed round. As a Venetian by birth, she provided us with all the necessary information about the place and answered hundreds of questions. Staying there, we could live the life of local people for some time - walk around the neighborhood, visit the church nearby, see the hanging clotheslines and even recycle rubbish (in Venice, thay do it in a special way)! Thank you, Sonia, we dream of getting back to your wonderful place!

Sonia was amazing. Meet us at the ferry to guide us to the property. Gave us a run down of the property. Helped with maps and advice for transport. Let us leave luggage on the last day to collect later. Property was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed.

Host was fantastic, came and met us from the seabus, took us to the apartment, had a map of Venice ready and gave fantastic information about where to go and good walks to see best parts of Venice. Great communication through WhatsApp, highly recommended the apartment, in a quiet location but easy and close enough to all major attractions

Sonia met us at the closest vaporetto stop and took us to the apartment. She also left suggestions for restaurants, oce cream, walks and key sites. It was a nice touch to have milk, juice and some breakfast items ready there (although the supermarket was only a 5/10 minute walk). Will definitely stay there again if I return to Venice.

“Short stay in Venice with a friend”

Lovely apartment close to Giardini della Biennale in Venice. I know the area very well, it is very safe and there are many restaurants and cafeterias. It's the perfect location to visit the Biennale Exhibition. The "vaporetto" is 5 minutes walking distance. Sonia and her family are great hosts!

“Sonia is the queen of hospitality”

We were welcomed by Sonia off the vaporetto. She spent time explaining everything to us, recommended restaurants, places to visit, showing us how everything in the flat worked and was generally very pleasant and very helpful. We loved the location, next to the Biennale and a restaurant almost next door, great for when we got back exhausted. There was tea and coffee, milk, sugar, breakfast items, salt, pepper, oil, vinegar etc. available, so we were able to prepare a meal in the apartment with no difficulty. The living dining area is comfortable. There is a washing machine, and even a dryer. Shops and many restaurants are a 10 minute walk from the apartment. The apartment is homely and comfortable. Sonia allowed us to leave our luggage until late on the day of departure. The apartment is on a very quiet street, on the water's edge, so you don't really feel like a tourist.

“Sweet, comfortable flat with perfect host”

Sonia was an excellent host, offering to collect us from the station, but we were happy to slowly make our way across town. The location was perfect as within 10min walk to the Biennale pavilions where I was working. The rooms were clean and comfortable and to be honest the images dont do the place justice. Its ground floor which is also great for us as we had a lot of luggage. Sonia also left us some milk and fruit upon our arrival and gave us good tips of what we can do in the area, places to shop and eat, drink etc. Ideal host

This is the right accommodation for true admirers of Venice and lovers of architecture and art. This is not accommodation for people who think that the Venetian Carnival lasts all year.

Sonia was fantastic. Generous with her time, fetched us at the Vaporetto stop and provided lots of extra things, coffee, tea, breakfast etc in the apartment for us. Also gave us all the info we needed to know on a map.

the hoster was very nice, she answered every questions we asked and give valuable advice. She also kindly prepared biscuits, breads and a bottle of wine for us.

Apartment located in a quiet area close to the center. The friendly host gave us tips how to explore the city. A place worth recommending.

“I loved it!”

Our trip to Venezia was amazing. I liked that we kept in touch with Sonia untill our arrival and after that. She was so friendly and kind, she gave us useful information about our trip, she even took us from the vaporetto station and she presented us the apartment. The apartment was clean, spacious and situated in a beautiful area with good restaurants. If we ever come to Venezia, for sure we’ll book again. I loved everything!
