Overview
Set in a 17th-century building just 50 metres from St. Mark’s Square, Hotel Montecarlo offers Venetian-style rooms with air conditioning and satellite TV. Wi-Fi is free throughout. Antico Pignolo restaurant serves a range of classic Italian cuisine and the wine cellar has over 900 different wines and holds the Best of Award of Excellence for the selection. The famous Bridge of Sighs is 400 metres away, while the Rialto Bridge is less than a 10 minutes away on foot.

The apartment has everything we needed. Our room had the view of the canal which was my favourite part of our stay. The lift was pretty handy as well. The Waterbus stop was only a 5 minute walk to the hotel and we didn't need to cross any bridges which would be a pain lugging our bags if we had to.

“Super central comfort in Venice”
This is my third stay and they must be doing something right to get repeat clients! The hotel is super central without being noisy and the staff are helpful without being intrusive. I will be back for the next biennale.

“Good room, good location, great service”
The room was a good size, the staff were amazing and the location was excellent super close to St Mark's square and lots of restaurants. We caught and left via a water taxi which could pull up about 1 min walk from the hotel and staff assisted us with our bags to and from the taxi, which was fantastic.
