This is the most exceptional hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Firstly, everything worked. And in Venice, even in a 5 star hotel, you can’t assume that to always be the case. The showers had heaps of pressure and heaps of hot water. The toilets flushed powerfully. The power points worked, as did the tv and air conditioning. The beds were so comfortable I slept through the night for the first time in years. I truly appreciated the love and attention that the owner lavishes on her property. It is immaculate. This is part art gallery, part home,part hotel. I “get” it and love it. Bravo Madame!

“The Metropole is the best kept secret in Venice”
The Metropole is the epitome of Venetian luxury - warm and hospitable. The suites are beautifully decorated and comfortable. The bar is a haven of calm and the service is friendly and personal.

Close to perfection: location, standard of the suite with sea view, spa, staff. Spent 3 nights for my wife 40’s birthday and we had an amazing experience. Deserves the 5-star rating, would definitely recommend

“A very specific styled hotel outside of the crowded areas in Venice that needs attention to detail.”
The hotel certainly has a clearly defined style, however, we didn't particularly like it. The rooms were nice, beds were fine too. Breakfast is nice. Personnel were very friendly and forthcoming. The hotel is just outside of the crowded tourists areas. They did nicely arrange for the water taxi to bring us to the airport.
