“Beautiful hotel in the perfect location”
The staff were excellent throughout and very accommodating. Room was exactly what we needed and breakfast was excellent. Location is great if you want to be out of the busy areas but close enough to walk and see the sights. Pool was a welcome addition after a day of walking to relax.

A beautiful venetian hotel in a good location. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. My purse was stolen on the bus on arrival and staff were kind and I appreciated this. The hotel is immaculately clean a d breakfast good. Nothing to fault at all there.

“Rather 3*, for room and bedding”
It is cozy hotel, good location, easy to reach all major attractions and close enough to visit Canaletto for evening dinner. Overall it is not too noisy around, relatively good breakfast (for Italy it is pretty generous actually). Nice reception and lobby are. I loved historic twist and Giorgione replica’s in common areas.

“Unique hotel with history”
Wonderful hotel with history, located in the center of Venice. Most of the sightseeings can be reached within a short walk. The hotel is unique, rooms very individual. Everything is very clean, especially the bathroom was in perfect condition! The staff is very friendly and helpful, whatever we asked for. Breakfast was, compared to most other Italian hotels very good. Thank you for the great time we spend!

“Quirky, retro, great location, decent for a one night stay.”
Stayed for one night. What a quirky place! Bit like stepping back in time. The lobby is lovely, it is like being in the 1920s. The staff guy who checked us in was new and very sweet. He took us up to our room and got us a different one when there was an issue. The hotel is retro and needs some updating but has character. The room had slightly tired baroque decor. We sat in the hotel bar area which was straight out of The Shining (without the ghosts!), the bar guy had a suit and bow tie etc. It was great, not exactly fancy or slick but inkeeping with Venice. Breakfast was included which is always nice. Suspect the place is haunted if you are into that kind of thing. It had a real 'feeling'. Added to the experience for me. The location is superb, in Cannaregio. Near everything. Personally I would rather stay somewhere characterful and imperfect like this, in a place like Venice, and come away with some stories.
