Close to Valletta but overlooking the water. Pool was lovely and never crowded with the added bonus of a small beach and access to the sea. Great restaurants, big comfortable rooms/bathrooms and helpful staff.

“Misled by name Carlton”
The location is near main railway station. Though is it far from main Venice attractions so if someone is doing a short trip then it is better to book some where else. Boat ferries are available at many locations near main attraction areas.
