Foscari Palace stood out for its amazing location right on the Grand Canal, where you can watch the boats glide past during breakfast or in the evenings. If you want to enjoy breakfast outside directly overlooking the canal, there’s an extra €10 charge, but the view makes it feel special. The hotel is extremely convenient, with vaporetto stops and even a gondola stop right outside, making it effortless to get around Venice. Despite being so central, it sits on a quiet little side street, just a minute from shops and restaurants. Inside, the hotel features beautiful traditional Venetian décor, with elegant paintings and classic details that give it real charm and character.

This hotel was absolutely stunning and probably the best location you can imagine in Venice It is right on the Grand Canal with gondolas passing by all the time and a traghetto crossing just nearby where you can get to the other side for only 2 euros The view from the window is невероятный you really feel the atmosphere of Venice every second There is also a terrace where you can sit with a coffee and watch gondoliers and the beautiful Venetian water life The rooms are surprisingly huge it almost feels unreal for Venice and everything is decorated in a very luxurious almost royal style Everything was perfect truly one of the best hotel experiences ever highly recommend

An historic Palace on the Grand Canal at a VERY reasonable low season price. EXTREMELY convenient level walking to the adjacent Number One water bus line directly to the Station and St Marks Square makes it VERY helpful for anyone with mobility issues in an otherwise CHALLENGING City

The location couldn't have been better. A Vaporetto pier (No 1 boat) literally around the corner and a Traghetto station outside the front door along with a Gondola station should you want them. The hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. A relaxed atmosphere making our stay even better. Sitting on the small wooden “patio”on the edge of the Grand Canal sipping a Campari Spritz was unforgettable as was sitting on the roof terrace. The breakfast was quite superb with a wide selection available, again, the breakfast staff were excellent too. Our room, 205, was big as was the bathroom and the double bed - beautifully clean and prepared each day. We had a most comfortable stay and will always return to this hotel in the future.

“A bit of Venetian magic”

This is the second time we have stayed at the Foscari Palace . The location is perfect , one can arrive to the front door by water taxi. It is so near C’a D’oro Vaperetto stop and two stops to the Realto. Breakfast is very good. Rooms are spotless.

Location was good and central. Water taxi right beside us and beautiful seating on the roof to relax on. Room was large, very clean and comfy. Breakfast and hospitality was 10 out of 10 too. Thank you for making our stay so memorable. We will be back!
