Location is great - close to nice panoramic views, close to good restaurants and close to a vaporetto station. The room is big & comfortable, with everything you need at hand. Communication with the host was also great and easy 🥰

It was a perfect location! Very clean with everything you might need. The host was really there for us. She prepared recommendations for great places to eat, and she even helped us organize taxi ride to the airport. Nothing fancy, but GREAT value for money. 🙌

This accommodation is in an ideal location, close to the activity and a supermarket but quiet. Boats can be reached easily and with minimal effort (only 1 bridge with a pathway). The host is very friendly and accessible and prepared an overview of good eateries, ice cream parlors and places of interest. Arrangements for luggage storage and pickup can be made with the host directly, and our host also informed us of public transport strikes.

We visited in February and were pleasantly surprised by the floor heating, which made both the room and the bathroom very comfortable and warm. We appreciated the good design of everything, including the amazing floor. The room was spacious and convenient. It was located on the ground floor of a house overlooking an internal courtyard. The host was very nice and helpful. And it was perfectly clean. So far, this is the best location we had in Venice from many travels in the past. We can only highly recommend it.

“A stunning place to stay in Venice with a very kind host!”

A wonderful apartment on the ground floor of a well restored building with a cozy garden in a quiet part of Venice, very close to Zattere (for vaporetto stop) and 6 minutes walk from Ca’Rezzonico (the orange alilaguna line straight from the Marco Polo airport). It’s extremely clean (spotless!), spare, minimalist and spacious. The bed was comfortable with soft and good quality linen and I loved that there wasn’t a tv. The bathroom was super clean, the shower with excellent water pressure and the toiletries with fine scent. The wifi connection was super fast. Naoko, the owner/host, was very kind and helpful, she even has a folder full of travel tips, maps, attractions and recommendations at our disposal. She even took care of making some reservations for us. Thank you Naoko! I highly recommend Carbonaia Venezia for a perfect stay in Venice!

We received a detailed list of local restaurant and activity recommendations, which helped us find great spots. We loved everything about our stay in Carbonaia Venezia. It was clean and comfortable. Our host had a very handy book of main attractions and recommendations. We were blown away with the hospitality of our host. Great communication. The location was a short walk or boat ride away from the main attractions but still had a local feel. We would love to come back.

It was spacious, it had everything needed for self catering, we made breakfast and lunch ourselves. Theres a shop 3 min walk away with everything you need to make food. The location was around 20 mins on foot from the main part and it was nice to explore the area on foot. The room was organised, comfortable bed, slippers, umbrella provided. There’s shampoo and other toiletries that you don’t get in other hotels. The host was nice and welcoming.
