“Lovely apartment near the waterfront, lots of restaurants and a green space”

The apartment was perfect! Large rooms, great location, comfy beds and exceptionally clean. The owner met us off the waterbus and welcomed us to Venice with lots of useful information and advice about our stay.

GianFranco kindly provided us with video instructions on how to get to the apartment. Following these instructions, finding the apartment was a breeze. The apartment itself is beautiful, with a separate bedroom for the adults and a separate one for the children. The apartment has everything you need for a long stay, and you can cook your own meals, thanks to the Spar, a convenient location just 50 meters away. The apartment is quiet in the evenings, which helped us get a good night's sleep after a long journey. There's a lively street nearby with plenty of cafes, restaurants, and pizzerias where you can sit and enjoy Italian cuisine. We'll definitely stay in this apartment again next time we're in Venice.

Great location, a short walk to the central area but quiet at night, we slept well. Useful shops a few minutes walk away, excellent bread and croissants from the bakery. A bread knife would have been useful.but everything else we needed was present, even weighing scales.

Location was about 5 mins walk away from the tourist spots which was a little quieter. Some lovely bars and restaurants with great food.

“Comfy stay”

The best location in Venice. Close to city center, restaurants and shops, but not so crowded. It,s easy also to get to Lido beaches (only two stops). The apartment was very clean, equipped with everything you may need during a trip, with comfy matraces. Our host was super friendly.

“Wonderful Stay at Bacanal Apartment”

Very Comfortable, owner was really helpful. Location was perfect in a local area with great bars,shops and restaurants but only 15 mins walk to all the main tourist areas. Owner left a welcome pack for us on arrival inc cakes, crackers, jam and breadsticks. Water, milk and juices were left in the fridge for us which was really appreciated. We had a full kitchen to use and tea and coffee provided, couldnt ask for much more!

The location is great and the host was very nice. We met him in person to get the key and useful information. We highly recommend this place!

We absolutely loved it. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the main attractions in Venice, the apartment situated in an old building who kept the history in its heart, but inside was modern and very equipped with everything you might need. The host, GianFranco who was very friendly and hospitable and took the time to explain and answer all our questions. We will definitely choose Bocanal should we return to Venice in the future! “A great find that made our stay in Venice very enjoyable.”

We were delighted to have found this apartment . It was lovely, having all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay and in a good location for exploring the city. Gianfranco and Caterina were great hosts. There were lots of lovely extras eg welcome pack of water, juice and some food to nibble that was much appreciated. A bulb needed replacing and this was done promptly, always a good sign of an attentive landlord. We hope to stay there again.
