The apartment is spacious, bright, and was comfortably warm during my stay in December. The hosts were welcoming, polite and kind. The place is well equipped with everything needed for a longer stay. The neighbourhood is absolutely perfect - loved the festive atmosphere with the Christmas tree and stalls and, of course, the convenience of the location with vaporetto stops just a couple of minutes away, as well as shops, pharmacy and cafes next door.

The location is great, just 3 minutes to vaporetto, 5 minutes to Giardini.. 15 minutes walk to San Marco... The apartment is very beautiful, clean and comfortable, the host very cool and there's a cool bar on the corner.

We were met at the Arsenale stop by Luigi and taken to our apartment. He gave us local information and was very friendly. The apartment was 10 to 15 mins walk to the main square and the vaperetto stop is a 5 min walk away to get all around the island. It was bigger than I expected, comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen for what we needed. There is a coop supermarket a couple of mins walk and it looks out onto a canal. For us the location was perfect, we had a great stay and would recommend this property.

Loved the location, quieter area yet with lots of cafes. Easy walking distance to places of interest. Liked the ability to turn the lounge a second bedroom as I was travelling with a friend so we preferred to have our own space! Warm and welcoming at the end of a days exploring. “Perfect apartment in a perfect location!”

Castello is a great neighbourhood! Absolutely loved the proximity to the lagoon, the beautiful views and escaping the tourist crowds. Short walk away from two vaporetto stops. The apartment had everything needed for a comfortable and pleasant stay (cooking utensils, comfortable bed, also a very comfy sofa bed, nice view etc.). Clean, spacious and nicely decorated rooms. Right next door to grocery stores, pharmacy, cafes, restaurants. We appreciated the possibility to leave bags before/after check-in/out at no extra charge, the two copies of the keys were very useful & the kind communication. I'll definitely check the availability of this apartment for my next visit to Venice!

Very good communicatin with the owners and we met in order to receive the keys and all explanations related to the apartment and around. Good instructions received before arrival and during our way to the apartment. If you visit the Biennale, this is a perfect location.

“Great place for a family”

Very spacious clean bright home on top floor( no smells from the canal). Both beds are on each side of the main hall ( kids can do their thing without disturbing). Just behind the main square with restaurants, groceries, coffee/gelato ( older kids can go on their own, without u worrying about them getting lost), less than 5 minutes walk to water taxi station. The host (Giuseppe) is very responsive and helping ( always available via Whatsapp, and is fluent in English).

“Authentic Venice”

Perfect accomodation away from the hustle and bustle but only 5 mins walk to vapporeto stop and a leisurely 15 min stroll into the centre. Great restaurants,bars and supermarkets only 200m away on the main street. Excellent contact with Giuseppe who made sure our stay was great. If you want to see the real Venice just open your window and look at the canal below!

The flat is clean and cozy. You can get all equipment to cook your own meal. The host is really responsive and enthusiastic, he gave me step to step instructions on how to get to the flat. Will definitely stay here again next time.

The location was excellent, it was about a 20 minute walk to St Mark's Square. The location was peaceful and quiet but the street behind had lovely restaurants, shops and a supermarket. There are a couple of parks about a 10 minute walk away, great for a picnic under the shade of a tree.

Location was perfect for our stay - away from the busy, immediate centre of Venice but an easy walk to all the sights. The apartment provided a comfortable base for our stay and our host, Giuseppe was very helpful.
