“Authentic Venetian Guesthouse”

For those in search of an authentic Venetian B&B, this is a rare find. Over the years, I’ve experienced three distinct types of accommodation in Venice: the polished yet impersonal hotels, the charming but somewhat timeworn traditional establishments, and finally the intimate B&Bs that feel less like lodging and more like being welcomed into someone’s home. This place belongs, unquestionably, to that last and most memorable category. The villa is set in a delightful location, with easy access to the vaporetto teminal, the beach, local restaurants, and even a supermarket. The street itself is blissfully quiet, free of traffic, while the balcony opens onto a serene garden. Inside, the gently creaking wooden floors, the unmistakable pleasurable scent of an old mansion lend the space a soul that modern interiors simply cannot imitate. The hosts are warm, attentive, and genuinely engaging. If you are seeking a polished hotel experience or fully-equipped apartment, this may not be your place. The same holds true if, for you, “value” means receiving absolute, hotel-level service for the lowest possible price—and not even having to clear your own dishes afterwards. But if you long to feel, even for a moment, that you are living as a local in a summer stay with locals, then this will suit you perfectly. Wholeheartedly recommended, especially for families with children.

Spacious room with beautiful big windows onto lovely gardens. Fresh air. En-suite bathroom was as clean as a whistle! Outside breakfast area was delightful. Our hosts were hospitable and helpful adding to a great experience. Would happily stay there again.

Adorable house and garden and adorable hosts!

Lovely arty place. It was nice to use the house bikes to ride and discover Lido island, quiet and relaxing (in October). You are 10min walk from the pier. A relaxing atmosphere out of the crowd. No shopping but eateries options near by. Big super clean room with a balcony overlooking garden on a quiet street. Nice !

My partner and I enjoyed our short weekend stay at this charming villa. The host, Francesco, was very kind in accommodating our late night arrival and made sure we were comfortable. The room was spacious with a private bathroom and had all the facilities we needed. The property is very close to the ferries taking you to Venezia as well. It made for a great and convenient stay, and we'd definitely return. Thank you!

The location was perfect, the island is the choice if you want to have a mix of all islands feelings (it has a social life). In front of everything the Host is very kind easy to talk to and generously helpful.

Very familiar and cosy atmosphere. Francesco and his wife are very caring hosts. Good breakfast taken with all guests at a communal table, very communicative. Some good restaurants in the neighbourhood.

Francesco has put a very accurate description of Villa Elisabetta on the website, so we had a good idea what to expect. The property isn't entirely done justice in the photos. It's a very traditional, imposing house with lots of original features on an attractive plot. It's very much a lived-in family home and not a swish hotel, which is exactly what we were looking for. We had a good sized room with a large, super comfy bed and ensuite shower room. Everything worked, and the eclectic bedding and towels were all nice and clean. We were able to keep the room at a nice temperature and slept like a log. Breakfast was basic but provided all that we needed - cereals, bread, jams and honey, fruit, yoghurts, cheese, teas and coffee - and we had a good chat with the other guests round the table, with Francesco officiating in his fluent English and French. The house is in a lovely, quiet location with a good restaurant just around the corner. Francesco has some 'rustic' bikes to borrow which we used to explore the Lido and to whizz down to the jetty to catch the frequent boats to Venice

the breakfast was good plenty of coffee bread and confiture selection of cereals and teas too and you could also bring your shop bought items such as salami or prosciutto and fresh bread to add to the items already provided bicycles were also available which was very helpful for getting around and exploring a little further around the accomadation the bikes were old but perfectly serviceable our room was spacious and warm our host was very friendly and knowledgable

Feel like at home; nice and nutritious breakfast; not far from sea with clean beaches; cozy garden and terrace; owner permit to use his own bicycles. The owner is devote time to every guest.

Villa Elisabetta is a traditional and old Italian house. It is in the heart of Lido. Francesco is very friendly, you feel like home. The house is very neat and clean. It is great to fall asleep while surrounded by bird songs.

The hosts were lovely and were very kind answering questions and finding events in the area. Very sweet family :) The bedroom was clean and the bed comfortable. It even had a small balcony. The area is calm and well connected to the rest of Venice.
