“An absolute gem of a hotel”

Staying at Hotel Sorriso on Lido was an exceptionally superb experience. We weren't expecting too much, given we'd booked at a cheap price and the hotel "only" has two stars. Well, weren't we surprised when we turned up! The staff were friendly and fantastically helpful, we were able to check in already at 11am and they gave us a massive room (actually a family room) with a huge balcony. The room was fantastic and had everything you needed (bathroom, aircon, fridge, table, wardrobe, kettle etc.). Breakfast was wonderful and the location is superb (directly by a bus stop, 8min ride to the waterbus station), only a few mins walk to the beach. Can highly recommend to anyone!

Breakfast was superb fresh croissants great choice of appetising food fresh coffee lovely staff highly recommend. The accommodation was very comfortable and good sized bathroom and high standard of cleanliness The staff are very helpful and friendly would love to return enjoyed our little break

We appreciated the following points: - the hotel’s location - the building is modern and well-maintained - the bus links and its proximity to the biennial - the breakfast is decent for a two-star hotel; there isn’t much choice, but everything tastes good; - the breakfast staff and the young receptionist are very friendly and attentive to guests.

I've stayed at this hotel twice and it has been excellent both times. Spacious, comfortable rooms, sparkling clean, great breakfast with everything very fresh. Easy bus and boat journey to/from the city of Venice.

Location is very good, near the center of Lido. Accommodation is very clean, quiet, good value for the money.

The room was top-notch clean. The staff were very nice. While the locality is further away from the SME port, there is a direct bus which stops right next to hotel, so it's not a problem

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. The location in Venice-Lido was perfect—peaceful yet well-connected, making it easy to explore Venice while enjoying a relaxing atmosphere.

Breakfast

Everything was amazing! The rooms were cleaned daily. The breakfast was delicious! The distance from the ferry was a slight inconvenience, but walks on the beach made up for it!

I've stayed here before and found it convenient, quiet, clean and friendly.

The location is great. Very quiet and near the bus station. Even if the hotel is not new, everything is clean and looked after. The staff is exceptional and very polite. Last year I didn’t enjoy the breakfast but this year I was pleasantly surprised by the variety and the care displayed. Overall I had a great experience.
