Overview
Situated in front of the famous Excelsior Beach, in the congress zone of Lido, the Hotel Petit Palais is set right by the Cinema Palace, which houses the Venice Film Festival. This modern-looking building, with façades made of travertine marble, is comprised of 31 double rooms. Most rooms offer a fantastic view of the Excelsior Beach and the Adriatic Sea. The hotel's position in Lido, the main island of the Lagoon, will allow you to easily reach Saint Mark's Square in approximately 15 minutes by boat.

“Great place with amazing staff”
Such a nice place with such a friendly stuff. We really enjoyed our stay here. We got a welcome drink at arrival and fresh cappuccino every morning. Breakfast was very good. I would definitely come here again.

“Almost the best”
The Receptionists were very helpful and kind. The room was Classic room, it was OK besides the big coloumn in the middle of the room. Always clean and the tidy! Continental breakfast was OK. 2 mins from Shelly beach!!!

“Average 4* hotel on the beach.”
Found the hotel a little on the lower end of a 4 star. Breakfast was good but lacked choice. Rooms were of a good size but our bathroom was a little dated and could do with a refresh. Lido has a nice beach, we ate at the pizza restaurant next door what was excellent. Beautiful sky at night. A water taxi day pass is useful as can be used from the mainland and also to get to Murano and Burrano. We bought a 1 day pass that is active for 24 hours so also got us back to the main island to catch the train in Santa Lucia the following morning. Plenty of busses from the water taxi station to get you to a stop a short walk from the hotel. We used one of the beach cabins. Pricy at €120 but worth it for the day.

Very large bed and all what is needed for the comfortable stay, very clean. There was also a balcony. In the bathroom, I liked the illuminated shelf for cosmetics in the shower cabin (see the photo). Air condition was very silent. Very friendly staff.
