“A lovely abode in a hideaway village - be prepared for the remote location”

In all fairness, everything got sorted eventually, but not without worries. Booking was easy, clear instructions received by email and WhatsApp in Spanish (I used a translator and all was fine). Check in is super easy, key is left in a key box. The room is very small, but adequate for two. It would be perfect without the huge additional bed (have no idea how 3 people would cope in the little space). We appreciated the table and chairs (though understand that in the summer those would be on the balcony, leaving more space). There is a fridge, a hob and the right amount of cutlery and crockery. The fridge gets stocked with cheese, ham, butter, jam, chopped tomatoes, olive oil, milk and juice daily and there is a coffee machine with pods. The hotel itself is attractive, nicely done. It's undoubtedly perfect for events, as advertised. It's tucked away in a small mountain village, c. 25 min drive from Velez-Malaga. Note that there are no restaurants in the village, only a daytime eatery and maybe a shop (we never found it). Certainly absolutely nothing in the evenings and on Sunday. Don't believe Google for facilities.

No person available neither at check-in and check-out (room key placed in a key box at entrance door). Poor communication through WhatsApp, not responding to massages or answering calls. Location felt very isolated and being the only guest with no staff around did not give a feeling of security. Breakfast meant packaged jam, ham and cheese provided in fridge with only one roll of bread delivered in a bag, which hung at the entrance door.

Pretty much everything, but what stands out is breakfast - fresh bread delivered by local baker every morning is a really nice touch. They also provide you with juice, milk, cheese and ham among other things. Other than that - big parking, design of the place, cleaning service every day etc Great place for exploring Costa del Sol

“Princess castle”

We were all alone in all castle!!!

The apartment was very good value and in an excellent location about 30 mins from Málaga. The town/village was very quiet with beautiful views. Communication was very good and check in was very straightforward. We didn't see a member of the staff during our stay. Our room was comfortable and had all of the necessary facilities. If you plan to cook for yourself, the shops in the town shut at 3pm. Breakfast was simple but filling. The hosts were generous with the coffee capsules. A pleasant stay.

Very nice location and the rooms. There is a small kitchen area with a fridge in a room, minibar room prices are perfectly acceptable too, with a small mark up over shop ones, so nobody should feel like paying over the odds. Depending on the expectation the breakfast could be marked as good or not so good. Nice fresh bread delivered to main door each morning. Great views in a tranquil location.

It is a beautiful small hotel with a swimming pool. The room was pretty little but the balcony was great! Sitting on the balcony we could enjoy the view of the mountains.
