“Elegant times of the past”
We only spent a few hours at the hotel because we were participating in a cycling ultra marathon. We were not able to wait for breakfast. Everything else was fine. It would be nice to mention that the interior design is reminiscent of the elegant times of the past.

The breakfast has quite a lot of savoury and sweet options, and it was very good and on time. The staff was consistently helpful and friendly! And the rooms were very clean, and despite their more old fashioned style, they were still comfortable.

The staff was friendly. The breakfast was not bad, but coffe was so-so. A restaurant in the hotel is closed in the evening, but in the same building there is a bar where you can spend time in the evenings. An evening barman was also very friendly. Kitchens in all restaurants in Velenje are closed at 20:00 or 20:30.

“Good for the price”
Firstly, the place is really good - lake is like 5 min on motorbike, castle is 10 min by foot. Secondly, the staff - I have nothing to say here - they are professionals, they speak english very well, the woman receptionist (the day i arrived around 15:00 if you`d like to pay her bonuses :D) helped me with a route to the lake and to the castle. Thank you one more time. The breakfast is ok and it`s from 7 which is great.

Very friendly staff, pretty large room with nice balcony and great location. Accomodation included breakfast which was very diverse and there was everything we wished for and more. Highly recommend.
