Overview
This is a modern self-service hostel in a countryside setting, 6 km outside central Vejle. All rooms have a flat-screen TV and a bathroom. Also all rooms have bedlinen included. It is however, a part of the Danish hostel experience, that the guests make their own beds. Wi-Fi is free and accessible in all areas. Breakfast is not included in the price, However, Danhostel Vejle has a fully-equipped communal kitchen with hot plates and an oven. A laundry room can also be found on site and is at free disposal to the guests. The common room offers comfortable leather chairs and a fire place. Table football can be played in the games room. Guests can relax in the garden or on the patio, which has a barbecue area. Outdoor options include a playground and a mini football pitch. Those wishing to explore the area can order a packed lunch. The popular Legoland Amusement Park, Givskud zoo, and Jelling are all a 25-minute drive from Danhostel Vejle.

“Close to Legoland”
Good proximity to Legoland in Billund. Good access to parking. Grocery store a five minute drive away. Shared kitchen is big: five tables, two stoves, decent amount of pans and pots.

“We were not satisfied with the room and choose to stay elsewhere despite not being eligible for a refund on the room”
The room was south facing and with little ventilation on a hot day was unbearable. While the sheets and towels provided were clean, the mattresses were not. There were several men smoking in the courtyard outside the room.

“Affordable and comfortable for two families”
We had to come in early to drop off a cake in the refrigerator because we were celebrating a child's birthday. It was easy to pop in and use the shared refrigerator. The shared kitchen was big and clean with everything we needed. We did not pay for their breakfast but brought our own. We drove to Legoland and LegoHouse and it was an easy car trip. We had 4 adults and 4 kids and we were very comfortable in our 8 bed room with a private bathroom. Linens and towels provided was fantastic!
