So much to like. The welcoming staff, Bruno and Christophe who rescued us having got lost! The stunning location with 360 views, and the beautiful classic Andalucian finca. The wonderful breakfasts and honesty bar. The spacious apartment with good aircon - needed in 34c.

We loved the tranquility of the location, the comfort of the house, the views, the bird life, the cattle and above all the warmth, friendliness, helpfulness and attention to detail of the hosts. And Christophe’s breakfasts - with home made bread and pastries, fruits and the best of local produce - were absolutely superb - the best I think I’ve ever had even in a 5 star hotel! Pool and jacuzzi very welcome too in the lovely shady gardens

The room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated, the bathroom the same. The pool was so relaxing, the patio was fresh, with trees and plants offering shade and such a confortable and lovely place to relax. The views were breathtaking. Bruno and Christoph were excellent hosts, very polite, helpful and nice, always available. We could see so many stars at night from our terrace, it felt magical. There were cows, butterflies and bees and birds, lemon trees, oranges and grapevine. It was like stepping into this tranquil existence but at the same time being so close to town, beaches and the "normal" life. Breakfast was delicious and we had the feeling of being at home, we felt confortable, relaxed and it was a great break from everyday life. Next time we will definitely book a longer stay, as we felt sorry we left so soon. Thank you for our lovely weekend at your place.

“A place worth a detour”

Bruno and Christophe were the perfect hosts and made our stay at the La Casa something we will remember for years. The facilites were great (the pool was open early May), the view from the hilltop was magnificent. Early May there seemed to be wild flowers almost everywhere. We just loved the atmosphere at the Casa. And then there was the food: Breakfast was so delicious, all ingredients fresh and tasty served at your table. Dinner the same, Christophe is just very good at what he is doing. They also have a good selection of local wine - very reasonable. After the first dinner at the Casa we never considered going to the nearby town for dinner.

“A magical stay”

Communication and the welcome from Bruno and Christophe was superb. We were met at the road junction as it’s a long unmarked road to get to the property although google maps got us there without a problem. The property is stunning with 360 views of the local area including Vejer de la Frontera on the next hill. Our apartment room was beautiful with every comfort. We booked a meal for our two night stay and are so glad we did as the food was exceptional prepared by our very own French chef Christophe. One of the best short stays we have ever had. If you are in the area treat yourselves to this magical place.

Excellent Breakfast, with surprises every day morning of a freshly baked cake, fresh fruit too & plenty more. Loved the property, both the owners were friendly, knowledgeable about the local area. The service was exemplary for everything from serving food to communicating our days out. It’s really good advice. An absolutely perfect location for us as we were in the National Park with access to the main town of a 10 minute drive.

Everything at la casa del torero was extremely good. The service we were given at this place was the most amazing ever. The place is idilic to relax and disconnect, the garden, the pool, the room, the comfy beds… Breakfast is spectacular, multiple options, outstanding food quality. Dinner was also really good.

“A gem that should not remain hidden!”

Visitors to the Vejer/Cadiz region should take time to visit this beautiful Quinta. Run by the charming Bruno and Christophe, it’s simply wonderful. Location is stunning. It’s apparently an old bullfighter’s house. Set on a hill in the middle of nowhere (and yet only minutes from Vejer) it combines homeliness and tranquility with the most delicious home cooked food. Prepared lovingly by Christophe from local seasonal products, the dinner simply must be experienced. I can’t wait to come back!
