Overview
Set 250 metres from Vejer’s San Salvador Church, El Cobijo de Vejer is a 19th-century Andalusian house with a courtyard. Rooms offer free Wi-Fi and and access to a shared terrace overlooking the church and Vejer Cliffs. Each air-conditioned room is individually decorated in a Moorish-inspired style. Rooms are soundproofed and have a flat-screen TV, CD and DVD player. The private bathroom comes with a hairdryer and free toiletries. Each room has a microwave and kettle. A free buffet breakfast is offered at El Cobijo, using homemade organic products.

Excellently located just a few steps from a really good range of bars and restaurants. Super clean rooms in a lovely shaded courtyard with extra bonus of shared terrace. The views are lovely and the bed was so comfortable.

“Beautiful property with lovely people in a beautiful location”
This is the second time I have been. I love the colour scheme, the tiles, the plants , the views from the roof terrace is spectacular ( not all rooms have a terrace) the staff are exceptional too and the breakfasts are really nourishing

This is the 3rd time we have stayed in El Cobijo but the first time in a suite. The terrace was big and the view spectacular. The location is great for getting around town. The hosts are very warm and friendly and couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast is amazing, so much time and effort to make cake, bread and preserves. We didn't have to eat again until the evening.

“A hidden gem in the heart of Vejer, we loved it!”
We loved everything about El Cobijo, the hosts Jesus and Mercedes were really lovely people, Jesus picked us up and dropped us back to the bus stop with our luggage. His recommendations were excellent. The breakfasts were amazing, everything was homemade and plentiful, you would be full for the day! The view from our terrace and apartment (Bolonia) was spectacular. The location was perfect, close to the center. Beds were made everyday and the apartment was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was small but had a good shower. We would go back in a heartbeat.

“El Cobijo, superb accommodation in Vejer”
Lovely welcoming hosts, great location, easy access to the whole town. Accommodation is lovely, the terrace is superb for breakfast. Breakfast was excellent. Our hosts kindly told us the best place to park and provided us a lift in their vehicle. An experience to enjoy. Next time im in Vejer, it's the only place I'd want to stay. Highly recommend here..

The location is charming, perfect for exploring Vejer de la Frontera. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel truly welcome. Many thanks for the assistance with transportation from parking to the hotel. And I must mention the exceptional breakfast! Everything was prepared with care by the staff, making for a delicious start to each day. Highly recommend El Cobijo de Vejer for a wonderful stay!

“What a find !”
An exceptional experience. So personal, Jesus and Mercedes are two special people. Their calm and welcoming presence gives an immediate impression that you will have a positive stay in El Cobijo. They are passionate about what they do and really cannot do enough for their guests. We enjoyed our interactions with them as much as we did their comfortable and spotlessly clean apartment in a fabulous location in Vejer. Their breakfasts, all home made and different on the two mornings we stayed, were simply amazing and sustained us until the evening. We were so delighted that we had opted for such a personal and rewarding stay and wish them continued success.

“Highly recommended”
We felt very well looked after from start to finish..We were personally collected by Jesus after parking our car Then a welcome glass of wine. What a marvellous welcome. Breakfast next morning in the sun and everything homemade and extremely delicious. We would highly recommend El Cobiijo and would love to visit again.
