We stayed at this hotel for one night during our trip around Iceland and had a very pleasant experience. The location is excellent for exploring the Snæfellsnes Peninsula and the surrounding area. The views around the hotel are beautiful, with endless Icelandic landscapes stretching in every direction. The breakfast was also very enjoyable. On the morning of our departure, the weather outside was extremely windy and rainy, and it felt especially cozy to sit in the restaurant, drink hot coffee, and watch the Icelandic weather through the windows. Our room was very spacious, with a high ceiling that made it feel even more comfortable and open. We also appreciated having a kettle in the room after a long day of driving and sightseeing.

Do yourself a favor and stay here! It’s the most lovely hotel, with a great restaurant with a delicious selection of food on the menu and a cafe with coffee and cake. Located in the middle of nowhere, but worth the drive.The breakfast is really look, and have lots of options. Very child friendly staff, we felt so welcome every second of our 2 nights stay. In general the staff was excellent and helpful, all of them. The room contained everything we needed. The best place we stayed at our visit to Iceland (we stayed 5 different places).

Stunning location and very friendly staff. Spacious and comfortable rooms and a great start to our road trip feeling we were really out in nature. Food also excellent - dinner and breakfast.

We liked this twin room size. Very bright, clean and quiet, with excellent wifi signal. Bathroom size was bigger than usually. Free parking. Very good breakfast included. Nice restaurant on site where we enjoyed a good diner too. Netflix available in the room. Friendly staff. They agreed to keep our food in their kitchen (no fridge in the room). Perfect location to start discovery of Snaeffelsnes on the following day.

Great location to explore Snaefellsnes

Great location to explore the Snaefellsnes peninsula and observe northern lights. Dinner was amazing. We tried lamb shank, fish stew, and fries - all amazing.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The hotel has only a few rooms, so it feels private and cozy — very homey. The dinner at the hotel was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff were kind and friendly. I was also lucky to able to see the Northern Lights right from the lawn behind the hotel. Such a wonderful experience!

The hotel is well-placed for exploring the Snaefellsnes peninsula, simple but good breakfast.
