Clean, comfortable, you will find in the kitchen everything you need for a short stay (coffee, tea, oil). Good as a starting point for hiking, good bus connection. Ideal for those who want to escape from the crowded part of the island.

“Lovely flat in San Mateo”
Lovely apartment, very cozy and it felt like being home. Comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen and many details that will make your stay pleasant. The host even leaves a yoga mat and brick and a few things for the beach.

“La Mariposa a very comfortable stay”
Luisa has made the apartment very comfortable with everything you might need for self catering and even a Pilates mat with instruction book. It is also very nicely decorated and just a short walk into the centre of town. Luisa was very welcoming and helped us with our bicycles.

“Perfect accommodation in Vega de San Mateo”
Everything was perfect, a very good kitchen equipment, clean, wifi worked properly. Nice and calm area. Luisa was very kind and helpful with my personal troubles (I received my luggage from the air company with 2 day delay). Muchas gracias por todo!

The appartement was clean and had everything you need. I could leave my bag while I was hiking. San Mateo is a very pleasant city in Gran Canaria. By public bus you reach Cueva Grande from there you can hike in the mountains. Connections to Las Palmas are also very good

located in a quaint, rural town. 30 mins to get to the Center of the island and 30 mins to get to Las Palmas (if you have a car).
