Located in Vavla Village, the traditional and stone-built Our House offers a hot tub and a garden. It features accommodation with a furnished patio and free Wi-Fi. Our House is an amazing place to stay. Donna-Marie was a wonderful host - there when you needed her and unobtrusive when you didn't. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable and lacked for nothing, the breakfasts were fabulous, cooked to order and filling. If you are ever offered the home made waffles you must have them - they were the best that I have ever tasted! The views from the terraces are fantastic too.

“Fabulous stay with a lot of laughing”
It is a unique experience of hospitality in a small village. The house belongs to a wonderful couple — Donna Marie and George — who have been together for 56 years and still look full of energy and joy together, creating the same atmosphere in the house. Surrounded by calming countryside, this place can serve as a nice weekend destination for those who live in Cyprus cities, as was our case. It is also worth visiting for those interested in local cuisine — I recommend ordering dinner at the place (better to request it in advance), as it is tasty and represents Cypriot cuisine very well.

Amazing historic buildings with a host born in his own home in Vavla and his wonderful wife coming from across the ocean The whole stay in their house, which they called "our home" (and indeed it is their paradise on earth) was amazing, Starting from the hosts and conversations with them, through breakfasts, ending with sightseeing of the closer and more distant area. I sincerely recommend it to those who like silence, the beauty of nature and the opportunity to visit something bigger from time to time.

“Broadening cultural and culinary experience”
The place was amazing, the hosts, Donna and George made it even more so with their attentiveness, great humour and amazing personalities. The 5 course dinner we had there was the best food we could have eaten. It was the perfect overall experience and quickly became a favourite place.

I just love this place! We were lucky to spend a few days in one of the most beautiful villas in Cyprus The House of Donna Marie and George, in a wonderful Vavla. That is a unique and peaceful place where you can really relax. Room was spacious and comfortable. Dona Marie is a master chef and the food she prepared was delicious (we had breakfasts and dinners). I recommend it!

“A special HOMEY place with great hospitality”
The name of the place is Our House and definitely stands up to its name... It is really the house of the owners Donna and George who turned their home into a center of hospitality. Our room felt more like a cozy bedroom than a standard bed and breakfast room. The rooms are built around a central courtyard with an option to climb up onto the roof to relax opposite the beautiful view.

“Perfect place for relaxation”
We were lucky to spend a few beautiful days in the house of Donna Marie and George, in the fabulous village of Vavla. This comfortable and tranquil place offered a real relaxation. We felt like family when sitting around the dining table for breakfast with Donna Marie’s home-made apricot jam or for dinner of George’s authentic souvlaki. The breakfast was amazing with an excellent choice including a variety of freshly cooked food. The location is beautiful and peaceful. The views from Our House are amazing and the whole ambience of Vavla is one of architectural interest, peace and tranquility. There is a good Taverna in the village serving fabulous Cypriot food!! Having spent 9 days at Our House I would definately recommend to freinds and family.

Our stay at Our House was one of the best experiences we've ever had. Donna Marie and George paid attention to every detail—the view from the roof, the old-fashioned style of the rooms, and the beautiful garden. Everything was top-notch. The food was the best part; it was the tastiest we had in Cyprus, made with fresh ingredients from their garden. We also had interesting conversations with George and Donna, who are truly fascinating people. We really liked the hiking around Vavla village because it’s not as crowded with tourists as other nearby places. We definitely recommend this spot and can’t wait to go back.

Beautiful place in a lovely quaint village surrounded by lots of hiking routes/nature. Donna-Marie and George are fantastic hosts. 100% recommend having dinner there - it is incredible and one of the best we had in Cyprus! Rooms are very comfortable and beautifully designed.
