A stunning location, as expected, but what was truly unexpected was the high standard of amenities available in such a remote setting. Stayed one night before doing a boat trip to Shala River. Hosts were very welcoming and so kind. They cooked us a wonderful breakfast before driving us to the boat and collected us again later that day, allowing us to leave our car at their property after check-out. The family couldn't have been more hospitable.

Perfect location with great view, very helpful hosts. Tasty and plentiful freshly made breakfast. Locally cooked dinner is also available.

Nice garden setting with view on the dam and bridge considering the surrounding it was extremely nice, and had a good vibe with the tables in the garden nicely lid. breakfast with freshly baked albanian pancakes 😋 They organize the boot trip for us including drop off and pick up at the harbour, can t be better.

Lovely place, wonderful hosts! ❤️ Stay was cozy, hosts talks english fluently and was pleasant to give information about activities around. They drove us to boat tours and helped with tickets. Tasty and full breakfast 🌸 its actually sad that we stayed there only one night. Thank you and good luck 😊

“If you want to be spoiled by delicious local cousine, you have to stay here!”

We loved absolutely everything here - our hosts who took good care of the us, our room with everything we needed, but the best was the delicious home-made food. We felt spoiled. 🫶 Our host cooked everything by herself, the breakfast was enormous and we ordered dinner there, which was so much better choice than going to a restaurant. They also have a lovely garden where the guests can relax at the end of the day. I also have to mention that they picked us up from the ferry terminal and also brought us there next day, since we didn't travel by car. Thank you so much for your hospilality! I will definitely recommend to stay here, it looks so much better in reality than on the pictures.

Super nice owner who coocked dinner for us when we came in very late. Drove us to and from the shala river boat tour (for free). And gave us coffee and a bottle of own made wine for free. (Offcourse we left some money for all this kindness. Room clean, bed comfy.

The owners was waiting for us infront of the house with big smiles on their faces. We felt very welcomed and like at home. They offered us their own grape juice for welcoming. Everything was perfect! The food was very delicious, it really was the best food we had in Albania so far. They were also super helpful and even drove us to the Ferry Terminal for our Shala River Tour. The place is also very cute, with a huge garden full of veggies and fruits that you can try and the location is perfectly close to the Ferry Terminal.

We loved everything - the location, the apartments, the food. Everything was just amazing!!! The owners are very nice and lovely people and will do anything for you. Our son didn't want to go home. This was the best location of our trip to Albania. P.S. Don't stay here for too long, because Matilda cooks very tasty food, and it may affect your figure ;)

“Excellent place to stay”

The owners - fantastic people. The ones you want to hug when you go away, also after staying just one night. In the morning, we saw how beautiful the place is, there is a garden where you can disappear and hide from the sun, the house is very cozy and lovely. The breakfast was delicious, made by the owner herself. And it is 5 min drive from Komani lake fairy stop.

Aryan and Mathilda are absolutely amazing hosts. They made us feel so at home and went above and beyond to look after us. By the end of our stay, it felt like we were staying with friends. “Amazing hosts of this beautiful guest house”

Me and my friend had a lovely stay in the guest house. We had amazing breakfast and dinner prepared by the host. After the first night the husband drove us to catch a ferry on shala river and picked us up as well, it was nice that they drove us there because the parking is difficult. Would recommend everyone to stay with these kind, lovely people.

Everything was perfect. Very kind hosts and beautiful location. Best food we had in all of albania. Dinner is freshly cooked with ingredients from their garden.

“Sweetest hosts with the perfect stay”

Absolutely amazing stay. Clean room and bathroom, attentive hosts and perfect location with amazing views to the Lumi Drin. They are super sweet, waited to receive us at midnight and took us to get the ferry to go to Lumi Shales and picked us up the day after. All with a huge smile on their faces. Please stay here if you come to Komani.

The owners made us feel very welcome and accomodated all our needs. The location is peaceful, and we enjoyed relaxing in the garden and the pool. It is also handily located close to the Shala river. We highly recommend the place.
