Lovely spacious home for entire family to relax after hole day of sightseeing, comfy beds, and views on mountains and glaciers!

The accomodation is in a very remote place, but it was quite alright for sleeping. Our room was upgraded to one with a private bathroom. That was a big up, and also the coffee in the morning.

Beautiful place. Horses and a small lake nearby. The facility was clean. Nice common area with a pool table. The bed was very comfortable. They offered also some complementary tea and coffee.

Everything was perfect. Good location in a loved quiet place.

We stayed in a cottage. Beautiful from the outside, though a bit dated inside. The bathroom, however, had been newly renovated. The cottage is very small, but you do have your own private bathroom. The beds were very comfortable. The staff were very friendly, and we also really enjoyed the breakfast in the main house. The accommodation is very centrally located in the south. From there, it’s easy to reach the Golden Circle, Vik, and Reykjavik. It’s also a wonderful spot for seeing the northern lights. And the horses right outside the door were very cute.

Super friendly and helpful staff, made us feel very comfortable and welcome.

The accommodation is ideal for a group. Even though we didn't take advantage of them, the common facilities at the reception (free drinks, board games, billiard pool, etc.) are very welcomed.

“Great stay”

The location is remote and perfect, the rooms are tiny which is a regular thing in Iceland. Everything was clean, the staff was really nice. The common area is amazing, you have pool, darta, DVDs, board games, awesome vibe.

Lovely hotel, the room size was large which was great to have. The bed was very comfy, best bed we had in Iceland. The windows were also lovely to be able to look out and see the northern lights! As it is a little bit of a drive from a town, we appreciated having the restaurant onsite!

“Calm location good for the golden circle tour”

We stayed for two nights, the location was good for the golden circle tour with your own car. It is good location for northern lights, we saw there the most beautiful one through all the trip of Iceland. City is far enough to see it very clear, if you’re lucky.

Quiet location. Restaurant food is not bad

Everything except the size of the room was perfect. People were excellent.

The location is beautiful and the host were great. Lovely people and amazing hospitality. I would recommend this place to everyone who wants to stay close to golden circle. Additionally the hot chocolate and chocolate coffee was best.

The staff was soo kind and helpful. Room was very clean. We could check in later. Common room was soo fun and full of cool activities but we didn't have time to use it. That's my only regret.

“Caught the northern lights in the middle of nowhere!”

Good stay overall and their restaurant is actually pretty good - do try it out if you do not want to drive all the way to either Selfoss or Hella for food. Don't go to the hotel by route 302 (Urriðafossvegur?) though - the gravel road condition is really bad.
