“Could have been so much more”

The owners were nice welcoming us to the property and when we had an issue they were helpful. The area is super beautiful and with many amenities close by. There is a small private outside balcony which is beautiful and the garden is very green and pretty.

Everything was great! The host was always attentive to any request and response very fast. They let in way ahead of the check in time and we really appreciated it. There is no washing machine in the apt but Johanna wash our cloth for free as a service included with the reservation. The apt has everything such as coffee, oil, salt, pepper, paper, soap, sugar, olive oil, etc.

“Just perfect!”

The villa, the garden, location, service and hospitality has been perfect. We felt welcome and home from the first time we entered. The location is in the middle of a green area on the island and a great base to travel around the island. Small restaurants close by and a 15 min drive from Zakynthos city. For active people there are great areas for hiking or a good walk. The property is well equipped, cosy and clean. The garden is fully closed off by a gate you feel secure and can park your car direct to your villa. Most important are the hosts, they are hard working , friendly and welcoming and makes you want to visit again.

“Everything was wonderful”

Everything was perfect, the host was very welcoming, always around ready to help you if you needed but not to "suffocate" you. The kitchen was used with everything you needed, very clean and was cleaned every day. The terrace is gorgeous with a fabulous view. Thank you for making our stay wonderful!

We had a wonderful stay at this villa. The hosts were incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel truly welcome. The cleanliness was outstanding – everything was spotless, from the rooms and bathrooms to the common areas. The courtyard is beautiful, spacious, and very well maintained – a perfect place to relax at any time of the day. A special mention goes to Rocky, the friendly and gentle dog who made our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this place!

“Just Fabulous”

We did not have breakfast, so we went out to a wonderful coffee shop near Gerakas we only used this beach as it is the best on the Island in our opinion. The gardens are beautiful; you can sit, eat, relax, and enjoy the peace. The hosts are amazing so helpful and always check to make sure you have everything you need. The place is absolutely spotless and very cared for. They forgot our towels one day and they left us a bottle of Prosecco to say sorry which was a wonderful treat. I have been staying on this island for many years now and I would most certainly recommend this secret escape.

“Perfect appartment”

Everything was perfect. Every day, the apartment was cleaned, and every 2 days, the sheets and towels were changed. We were welcomed with cold water in the fridge and some fruits and candy on the table. From time to time, the owners were bringing some goodies. One day, they brought us pancakes, and on another day, a Proseco. We wanted to do a bbq, and the owners brought us wood for the firea. We felt like home and I recomand booking here. And finally Rokey, the owners dog, was very friendly and did not have any problems with our dog being there. Just for the sake of the review I will say some things that we did not necessarily liked: The stairs in the appartment are very steep, it's a challenge if you are older or if you have some medical problems as we had, we managed to get past that and it ended up not being a problem. The gate was jamming and needed a push from time to time, we were not bothered by that at all, but i would like to mention it for the review. If we visit Zakinthos again, we are definitely going to stay here, lovely owners, Thank you!

The house was clean and the host cleaned every day as well. We had a small issue with the air conditioning but it was fixed the next day by the host. The garden is somewhat smaller then it appears in the pictures, but it is otherwise nice and cosy.

“Fabulous family stay in Zakynthos”

Great stay in Zakynthos, close to most of the beaches in the south of the island. Fantastic hosts, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We loved having breakfasts in the beautiful garden out front, with beautiful orange blossom trees, and evening drinks on our balcony overlooking the sea. They property was spotless and got cleaned every every day (if desired), they even did our washing for us (if we left it out)! The kitchen was equipped with everything to make snacks, and simple meals / salads, and there was olive oil, salt & pepper, washing up liquid and some snacks / cold water waiting for us when we arrived. There is a great taverna (To Agnanti) pretty much opposite the property that we could walk to in a minute or two which had delicious food, great service and fabulous views.

The apartment was very clean and all property facilities were provided. The host was very kind and helpful, he recommended us good beaches and restaurants near the apartment. We had a problem with the AC, but they fixed it immediately. We really enjoyed our stay! The host even made us breakfast and washed the dishes. Highly recommend it!

I loved the view from the balcony! Outside it’s a very beautiful garden. The house is very nice designed, with good furniture and very good AC. The kitchen has all that you need for cooking. Just take in consideration that you will need a car.

The location is just what you could dream of. Balcony view is breathing. The garden is gorgeous, and the apartment itself is well kept. The kitchen is well equipped, and the apartment contains everything needed for your stay. Renting a car would be a good decision. However, the beaches are of walking distance from the apartment. Everyone was so helpful and very informative. I definitely recommend this place.

Extremely nice and caring host, offers assistance any time and replies quickly to any request. Beautiful garden, beautiful view, daily cleaning, regular change of towels and bedsheets, cute dog, ideal for families.

“A peaceful and beautiful location”

The apartment is quite spacious with two bedrooms upstairs and a living room downstairs with a sofa. It is well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, the only inconvenience being the stairs, as they are quite steep, but nothing worrisome, just need to be careful while using them. The view from the apartment is beautiful, also featuring a garden equipped with tables and hammocks, very nicely arranged. The staff is very friendly, hospitable, and attentive to all our requests. Cleaning is done daily, and laundry service is available. I recommend renting a car to reach the location and truly enjoy all the island's beaches. It was a lovely week at this place! Thanks again to the entire Alavastros family!
