Overview
Hestasport Cottages is situated by a geothermal hot pot, 1 km outside Varmahlíd village. It offers modern, self-catering accommodation with free Wi-Fi, full kitchen facilities and a patio. The wooden cottages at Hestasport have microwaves, tea/coffee makers and fridges. Dining tables and sofas are also included. Each cottage has a private bathroom with a shower. The communal, natural outdoor hot tub is ideal for an evening of relaxation. Icelandic horse riding tours and white water rafting trips can be arranged. A supermarket, petrol station and tourist office are a 2-minute drive from Hestasport’s cottages.

“Amazing stay, great hot tub and wonderful horse riding tour”
Wonderful place. Beautiful location and we really loved the hot tub. It was warm and very relaxing.! The staff were also very kind and so service-minded. Also, we booked a horse riding tour and it was perfect. The guides were informative, helpful and so kind to our kids. We all loved it - wonderful horses and stunning nature. We would love to come back and highly recommend this place!

We had a great time in the cottage, the house was super cosy and equipped with anything we needed. Also enjoyed the hot tub. When you stay in Hestasport Cottages, don't miss to do a horse riding tour, this was a fantastic experience.

“A gem in the North”
This cottage is a gem. Stunning 360 views, hot pot, clean, spacious, cozy. We loved every minute. Went horse riding to a waterfall and got some great hiking tips. The staff is super nice and helpful.

Cozy cottage and outdoor hot tub is plus. They also own a horse farm couples of min drive away from the cottages which wad also lovely.

The size of the cottage Fuglahús, you had plenty of space to put your suitcases and other belongings. Also the kitchen was complete to the maximum! Everything was there, and clean, really clean, compliments for the cleaning! Beds where as 3 years ago amazing, as was the bathroom, really everything is there to make your stay even more comfortable. Not to forget the hot tub in the middle of all the houses, we enjoyed that several times, really it is outstanding! The host helped us out in no time, we had a small error with the bathroom ( the crane of the shower was broken, so only hot hot hot water came out) they had it fixed within 24 hours! I think that is worth a compliment as well, Takk fyrir for everything! We will certainly return!

“Great location, everything you need.”
Great location to use as a base. Internal stairs may be a challenge for some but otherwise everything you need for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend this place.

Beautiful cottage! It has everything you need for your stay. The bed was comfortable, and the cottage was very spacious. There was also a hot tub outside, which was lovely! We loved our stay there!
