Had a lovely stay at Villa Jacaranda. It’s a beautiful, peaceful place tucked away from the busier parts of Varkala, with a really relaxed atmosphere and plenty of greenery around. I especially enjoyed waking up to the sounds of nature and spending time in the garden. Ajay the host and the rest of staff were kind and welcoming and made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. The room was comfortable, clean, and had everything I needed. A perfect place to slow down, rest, and enjoy Varkala at a gentler pace. Thank you for a wonderful stay — I hope to be back again one day.

Our 11 nights stay in Villa Jacaranda and hosted by Ajay, and his excellent team was an amazing experience. From the beautifully designed rooms and very comfortable accommodation to the sumptuous breakfast served each morning, everything was just perfect. It was a total joy and delight to spend some wonderful time here. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Ajay even helped us with the extension of our visas created by the recent hostilities. Loved everything about this Villa from location , decor , pool, breakfast on our balcony , beautifully landscaped gardens but above all the kindness and attentiveness of our host Ajay and all his staff there . It very much felt like we were invited into Ajay’s home. Amazing massages offered a few doors down with discount too !

We loved everything about our stay here! It is the most charming guesthouse with wonderful staff and a delightful owner. Having a pool was an enormous bonus . Delicious breakfast and comfy rooms.

Villa Jacarunda felt like an oasis. A place to rest and appreciate the beautiful surroundings. Everything is done with quiet care, whether this is arranging flowers in the room, presenting a delicious breakfast beautifully or tending the garden and pool and this left me feeling cared for and welcomed. If you are going to stay in Varkala this is just the kind of guest house you want. A small (only four rooms) owner operated, well located but not too close to the hustle and bustle but near enough that a short walk, or tuk tuk ride, gets you wherever you want to go. Ajay, a charming guy, and his team know the meaning of “service with a smile”, which sadly, is no longer something you find everywhere. They are helpful but not intrusive. The lush tropical garden shades the inviting pool. Breakfasts are generous, as are the simple but tastefully decorated rooms. The wifi was way better than the supposedly 5 star property we had just come from! We would definitely stay again.

It was beautifully decorated, very small and intimate but each room had their own space, either a terrace or a balcony. Only 4 rooms, very cosy and personal . Amazing staff and attention to detail spot on. Fantastic breakfast and perfect location .

“Peaceful paradise”

Villa Jacaranda is a beautiful calm oasis, a short walk away from the beach. Ajay, Sunny and Romesh were so kind and payed attention to every detail. We particularly enjoyed breakfast on our private terrace, the beautiful interiors, fresh flowers, and spending an afternoon at the pool in the gorgeous green garden. It was the perfect place to end our trip to Kerala and we’d highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful hospitality - Ajay and the team were so kind and helpful. The rooms are very well appointed with beautiful linens, lovely soaps and fresh flowers. Breakfast was such a treat with homemade bread, good coffee and lovely fruit salad. The garden and pool is well attended. A quiet part of town but good restaurants, amenities and beach nearby.

Its a small bed and breakfast where the entire staff is invested in your stay. Lovely balcony overlooking the sea. Peaceful location - away from all the noisy streets, yet accessible via walking or autos. The breakfast was brought to our balcony daily. It was a sumptuous spread and very convenient.

Such a beautiful energy at this property, very tastefully decorated with beautiful colours and a classic Indian motif. The garden was really peaceful and relaxing and I loved my balcony. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was great. Ajay and his staff are so lovely and went out of their way to make me feel welcome, I felt very looked after here - I couldn’t have asked for a better host and it made my holiday.
