Our stay at Villa Akasa was absolutely fantastic and truly one of the highlights of our trip to Varkala! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality that made us feel right at home. The property itself is beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly maintained. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The ambiance around the villa was calm and refreshing — the perfect escape to unwind and enjoy Varkala. What really made the experience special was the incredible hospitality of the hosts and staff. Everyone was extremely friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. Their attention to detail and genuine care for guests made our stay even more memorable. The location is also excellent — close enough to enjoy the vibrant Varkala vibe, beaches, and cafes, while still offering a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Overall, Villa Akasa exceeded our expectations in every way. Amazing stay, outstanding service, wonderful people, and beautiful surroundings. “Beautiful villa in quiet location”

Quiet location on Varkala's South Cliff with only 5 minute walk to the beach. We booked a room with outdoor patio and really enjoyed sitting out there in the evenings. The room was really spacious and beautifully decorated. Also loved the outdoor shower! The highlight is definitely the swimming pool, which can be enjoyed at all times of the day thanks to the shade from the trees. The landscaping has been so well thought out. It truly felt like a little bit of luxury staying here and we loved it!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Villa Akasa and are incredibly grateful to have experienced such a beautiful place. The entire property is absolutely stunning — from the charming architecture of the houses to the tasteful furnishings and impeccable cleanliness. We especially loved the peaceful atmosphere: waking up to birdsong in the morning and relaxing by the lovely pool, where there was always enough shade to enjoy some quiet and tranquility. The location is excellent, set on the quieter south cliff, offering less hustle and bustle while still being close to everything you need for a few perfect days by the beach. The staff were exceptionally attentive and friendly, making us feel welcome at all times, and the food was absolutely delicious. A truly special place that we would recommend without hesitation!

Great choice for Varkala. If you’re looking for a gem a little away from the hustle of Varkala north, this is a great pick. We loved it. The bungalows are made with style and Balinese inspiration. The pool is beautiful and the breakfast is delicious. Good massage available just across the street.

Best breakfast of our stay in Kerala, the team is incredibly kind and went out of their way to be helpful, the room is quite large with beautiful local prints. We were fans of the open air bathroom. Location was great, just a 10 minute walk to the beach and close to lots of bars and cafes while still being removed enough to create the sense of a tranquil oasis.

Our experience here was wonderful from start to finish. Between the tasty breakfast and the friendly atmosphere, we felt right at home. The location is unbeatable for beach lovers, and you can tell the property is kept with great care. Sid, the owner, is an amazing host who genuinely cares about his guests’ comfort. We have loved the fact the villa is located away from The touristic zone. It’s peaceful, intimate, well decorated. The breakfast was very good and the staff was perfect. Passing by and through other some other establishments around, we have felt very lucky to end up at Villa Akasa

A small, calm, comfortable, personally run hotel, beautifully presented, to relax in. We discovered it last year and made a significant detour to include a return stay this year.

We loved our stay its understated elegance. Everything is thought out with beautiful table linens and sheets. The staff are so kind and friendly making us feel so welcome. The gardens are lovely as is the pool. It’s a short walk to the beach where we had a morning swim before the delicious breakfast!
