“Restful retreat”

We loved the idealism and the caring ethos of Jambavan with its emphasis on the environment, art and welcoming guests. The room and shared facilities were all spotless, cool and comfortable. There is a large roof terrace where you're surrounded by the tree canopy and a balcony off the living room which is shady and breezy. The hosts Avneeth and Anvena are incredibly kind and friendly and speak perfect English. We enjoyed making friends with their family of cats 🐈‍⬛ It was fun having art materials in our room to encourage some sketching.

What a refreshing experience this was! It has been on my bucket list to come and stay at Jambavan Arts Collective & Homestay & it finally happened. From the quietude, to the inspiring artistic ambiance, to the much needed transition from hectic city life to quiet and peaceful, vibes of this place - Jambavan Arts offered me exactly that which my soul was seeking. After 2 days of fabulous sleep, I stepped on to their terrace space designed for musical explorations and found myself creating new electronic music after months of procrastination. Big shoutout to the time spent with the hosts and thank you for such fun and warmth. Avneeth I am a big fan of your ginger lemon tea. I hope I can replicate it back home. :) Be sure to ask about their private art and sound bath sessions. They will be completely worth your time. While I was here, it rained generously and it made the environment all the more beautiful. I only stepped out of Jambavan Arts on my 3rd day to go to the beach. It feels so cozy inside this space that you wouldn't want to leave at all! Frida the cat and her 3 kittens are also permanent residents of this space. I absolutely loved spending time with them. They are ridiculously entertaining! Phew! What a fantastic and rejuvenating experience this has been. I think I will be returning here soon. I highly highly recommend staying here on your visit to Varkala. You will leave much richer and fuller! 💕

“Relaxing tranquil vibes”

tranquil clean accommodation with a relaxing feel, and really helpful hosts.I felt safe and at home its an interesting set up and I think it's a suitable location from the beach a short walk or rickshaw. Reasonably priced.I liked the ethics of the place

“Lovely and peaceful ☀️”

I really enjoyed my stay there. I’ve spent three nights it was very clean, comfortable and the owners are ready to help any time. This place is very peaceful and we can feel their passion for art. Art is everywhere it makes the place so unique and they also apply the art of living. I highly recommend this place for a peaceful stay ☀️ They also organize workshop and I was very happy to join them for two classes. I could write more and more but it’s not easy to describe a feeling so my best advice is go there and feel the vibe 😊
