The hospitality of Mr. Vinod the host is excellent ,he is very helpful and accommodating, he tries to make your stay as comfortable as he can and makes you feel like you are staying at home rather then a guest house and the evening jamming session with guitar is the highlight. I will highly recommend this place.

“Basic, but cheap.. OK for the price!”
Location is great .. 3mins from the cliff .. then a small climb down 100 steps to get to the beach. Restaurants very close! Very basic, but it had a bed, a shower & a look on the door.. what more do you want for 1000r .. (that’s 2 coffees in the UK!)

“Our favourite stay from our month long India trip!”
The host, Vinod, was outstanding! He was always with a big smile and going out of his way to help us. He helped us to rent the scooty, booking the train and even drove us to the train station. The homestay is super nice vibes, we spent mostly every night chilling in the common area, chatting with other guests and playing some music. Thanks for an amazing stay!

I stayed for 2 days in gone coastal and I loved every moment in there. The owner was the sweetest person I met! We all sat together on a cozy evening and sang together was my favourite moment.

“Friendly place close to beach and the many cliff restaurants”
Liked the room on the first floor with balcony a lot. Really enjoyed reading there while lying in the hammock. And the host, Vinnood, is a very reaxed and helpful guy!

“Felt like I was teleported to paradise.”
The location was great, very near to the Varkala Cliff. The homestay itself was a treat for the eyes. It is amazingly decorated, and managed by an excellent host Vinod. He is very helpful with recommendations, and is fun to talk to. Also, don't miss his late night music sessions. The man is a star singer and guitarist.

The stay is a best option if you are on a budget trip let it be any type of travel like solo or group of friends. place is very much close to the cliff. And also is easily accessible . vinod bro (host) was also very much welcoming. Must try place if u are in varkala .
