Great location just a few seconds walk from the strip of bars and shops on the cliff overlooking the beach. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful - went out of their way to accommodate us. Clean, simple room.

Lovely small hotel/homestay very close to the beach and all the restaurants and shops. Comfortable rooms with good ac and a balcony/ terrace to sit out on. Staff were friendly and we had a nice breakfast.

Great location near to the helipad and end of the cliff. Muhammad the manager was very hospitable and made sure we had a comfortable stay, assisting with any questions we had and allowed us to have an early check in. A mention to Suresh as well for his hospitality. Room was clean and spacious. Recommend anyone to stay here.

A super friendly place to stay. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Mohamed helped us with train bookings and a fabulous Indian breakfast. The terrace is a lovely place to sit and relax. Each room is beautifully decorated with a mural and the decor throughout is quirky and fun.

“An enjoyable stay”
Very friendly and helpful staff looking after the guests and making sure everything was fine. The location is excellent, few steps from the cliff path with restaurants and shops but still very peaceful and quiet place. Filtered water provided and a shared fridge to keep drinks cool. Comfortable beds and hot showers.

“Amazing stay, would definitely recommend.”
I had a great stay at Aryavilla Heritage. I stayed there for more than a week and both Suresh and Mohamed, as well as the house staff, were extremely kind and helpful throughout my stay. The property is located just behind the bustling North Cliff, so beach and restaurants are in walking distance but it is quiet at night and in the morning, perfect for an undisturbed holiday sleep-in. I had booked a room with a terrace and spent a lot of time just soaking in the serenity! Would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Varkala.

“Fantastic welcoming hotel and staff”
The room was big and nicely decorated, the bed was very comfy and the staff were fantastic. We had a room and a terrace with outside furniture including a swing seat, very relaxing whilst reading! The communication from the staff from booking through to planning our arrival was exceptional. My husband wasn’t very well whilst there and the manager was so helpful and offered assistance when asked. I didn’t get to taste the breakfasts which have been recommended so disappointed there. Our time was very limited there but I’d have no qualms about booking again. 10 out of 10 for the staff.
