“Bucketfuls of character”

This place oozes character and history. The owner is hospitality personified. Not for people with restricted mobility though: there are no lifts.

This is a unique accommodation right in the middle of Varese, with courtyard parking. My room the Jester was very well personalised. Coffee at breakfast was great. Bed comfy.

This is one of the most interesting and original places I have stayed at. Signor Dante was a very kind and helpful host. The B&B is in the heart of Vasrese, close to absolutely everything. Though central, the room is very quiet. The bed was large and comfortable. Thank you very much!

How the hest has decorated the rooms - you gotta see to believe it. He also left a shot of cognac in a crystal bottle everyday. Tell you what - I have benn to 50 countries worldwide, never met a host quite like this.

A truly wonderful stay at Repubblica Di Oz Rooms. Dante was incredibly kind and helpful, and personally prepares the breakfast, which was absolutely delicious. During the Christmas period, the place was beautifully decorated, making the atmosphere even more special and cozy. I would definitely come back!

The hospitable hotel owner welcomed us personally. We were pleasantly surprised by the wonderful antique décor of the hotel and our bedroom, right in the centre of Varese. Our Opera room (and the other themed rooms) contained unique objects, books, paintings, a bathtub and other trinkets, and was lovingly decorated with great attention to detail. High ceilings, very spacious room, separate alcove for a mini fridge, eccentric bathroom, two balconies with seating facing the city centre. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast at two cosy large tables. Eggs cooked to order, pleasant conversation and cultural tips for our stay in Varese. Enclosed private parking possible.

Perfectly located and felt like a home away from home. Loved the beautiful decorations and antiques all around the hotel and rooms. Homemade breakfast and a warm host!

All the little details and accessories were out of the ordinary. There were even interesting books to browse.

It’s a very unique hotel. All rooms are exceptionally well decorated, very funky. Breakfast takes place at a long table, hence it’s very likely that one gets to know interesting people while having breakfast. The boss is a very hospitable, friendly man… a class of its own. Very good. The location is right in the centre of Varese with loads of restaurants, gelaterias and wine bars in its direct proximity. Secure parking is provided in the inner courtyard. Mind you, that the horizontal clearance of the thoroughfare is pretty tiny for big cars like SUV’s. We came by car (BMW X3) including a trailer with 3 motorbikes. We managed to push the trailer in manually, only just though. It was an adventure. The hotelier was very helpful in this regard, too.

Amazing property and fantastic host !

The man who runs the hotel does an amazing job. He is doing everything on his own: preparing breakfast, managing the checks in and checks out, supporting the guests in his requests, giving the correct information in the correct time and also is fast with everything. Very kind person and keen to listen and accommodate requests. Honestly, one of the best experiences I had with hotels.

The owner is very friendly & helpful. Each room is unique, you won’t find another place like this. It is our 2nd time here and we love it. In the middle of town so easy to find restaurants.
