The Hotel Ungheria is a family-run hotel offering bike rental and free parking, just 10 minutes' drive from Varese city centre. Rooms have satellite TV, WiFi and air conditioning. Have stayed here two times this year and find this hotel excellent. It is very close to the center and to the Bizzozero campus, also the bus stop for the train station is 3 min walk from the hotel. Staff is very friendly and the breakfast is great.

“Excellent”

Very good Gluten free breakfast options. Mozzarella for breakfast on one day. Nice coffee beans and good espresso. Friendly people.

“Convenient hotel for watching the rowing World Cup”
Very helpful and friendly staff, especially at breakfast time. Good breakfast with lots of choice. The air conditioning in the room worked well; the weather was very hot during our stay but our room remained at a comfortable temperature without being freezing and it wasn’t too noisy, even during the night.

“A lovely hotel”
The location was perfect and was easy to get around (Lake Maggiore, Milan and other local sights and has a direct fast train to Malpensa airport) with a good public transport. My room was was lovely and had a quaint balcony. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Hotel Ungerhia 1946 Varese.
