Hotel Ristorante Vecchia Riva is 20 metres from the bus stop to Varese's centre, 3 km away. You can drive to the Golf Club Varese in about 15 minutes, and to FieraMilano trade fair in 30 minutes. The cycle tracks which circle the lake start just 50 metres from the hotel. There is a Bike Rent just 50mt far from the Hotel, electric bikes can be rented on site. The hotel is 50 metres from a public swimming pool, available in the summer. A shuttle service to/from Malpensa Airport, 41 km away, is available on request at a surcharge. Varese Casbeno Train Station, a 6-minute drive away, offers connections with Milan where the Expo 2015 takes place.

“Lovely Authentic Italian Vibes”
We loved the restaurant, really a hidden gem! The room was comfy and cozy and the shower was fantastic! Also some lovely surroundings with a park nearby and bus stop at walking distance.

“Peaceful location”
Location right next to the lake, peaceful and quiet. Comfortable bed and pillows. Good bathroom facilities. Booked and paid extra for a lake view room, could only get a very small peek of the lake through lots of trees. It was a lovely setting though. Restaurant closed Wednesday nights so didn’t get to experience it. Breakfast was adequate. Reception and wait staff at breakfast very friendly and efficient.

Delightful to be met at the door by a friendly welcoming face. From there every staff member was friendly, helpful, professional and dressed immaculately. Rooms were bright, immaculate, simply furnished with comfy beds and spacious bathrooms. Breakfast and dinner each night was delicious with again, cheerful, and well presented staff. Dinner menu had a good variety with dishes the chef created to send you to food heaven, love this hotel.
