“Exactly what I was looking for…….great value for money…….a well ran family hotel”

Upon arrival…. greeted with a friendly welcome and show to my room…..nothing was any trouble……I found the whole hotel neat and tidy along with exceptional cleanliness……dinner was superb and the local wine excellent……will try and buy a few bottle to take away with me……. Secure car parking is very important to me so was relieved to see they had here…….the hotel is a few miles off my normal drive down south Italy which I do 4 times a year (plus return)……..will 100% stay here again……and not forgetting a short walk into a beautiful village / small town.

Excelent service! The owners and the staff are very helpful. The Restaurant has an exquisite menu with local flavour. Highly recommended.

Breakfast can be better. Maybe some fresh bread and egg.

“Ideal base hotel for exploring Liguria”

The hotel is in a good location within an interesting, small town with history, shops,bars and restaurants. We were welcomed warmly and offered help with our luggage. Breakfast was excellent.

We stayed over one night. Arrived around 9 pm. The restaurant is normally closing at 9, however they served a food for us and we were grateful for that. The rooms were quite good and clean. The hotel is very quite and the atmosphere is very good.

Wonderful peaceful charming hotel, with lovely welcoming staff. It's not flash but exactly how a hotel should be in old fashioned way in a lovely mountain town. Go there!!

The staff were very helpful and the location was nice a small gem, quiet and a bit hidden, off the path from the busier coastal hotels.

Very nice location and private parking, comfortable room with balcony

Nice place to set up a base to visit the highly overrated 5 terre area. Decent restaurant, mediocre breakfast, nice staff. Wouldnt reccomend for stays longer than 3 nights.

The rooms were comfortable and ample with a balcony with a partial view of the town. Everything was clean and orderly and we had a really nice, very decently priced meal. (Menu without drinks 15 EUR p.p.) Varese Ligure is a very laid back town but definitely worth a stay if you want to wind down after some active days on the Ligurian coast. We can absolutely recommend the albergo. Great value for the money 👍🏻
