The hotel is very cozy, in spirit with Sami culture and owners are very welcoming and helpful. Nice view over the snowy roads, comfy room with all necessities, next door shop with good variety of food and drink and it's next to the main bus stop.

My room (nr.3) was a cosy little room with a bed, tv, a table and a nice bath room. It was a nice room for a short stay and a single person. If you like to stay longer it might be better to have a larger room. The manager is very kind and try to make the stay as good as possible. Breakfast was very good with delicious marmelade and good bread.

The facility appeared to be recently upgraded. The rooms were good, but the bathroom was very small.

The room was very comfortable and cosy, and the breakfast delicious. The bus stops litterally on the hotel parking lot.

The hotel is located in a place where you want to relax. The room has a wonderful silence, a soft bed, amazingly soft and comfortable pillows. And there are so many interesting things about the culture and history of the Sami! A wonderful place for those who travel and want to learn something new for themselves!

“A nice place by Varangerfjord”

Location is great in the middle of the village, I had nice views on the fjord too. Room was clean, nice looking, warm, and the shower had warm water. I had the weekend self service breakfast from the fridge which worked fine. Did not see anyone, staff or guests, which was fine too.

“Unique and very comfortable experience”

8 Seasons in Varangerbotn/Vuonnabahta is an unique experience and at the same time a very comfortable place to stay. Easy check-in with the help of electronical locks. Gas station, food-store and restaurant in the same building and another restaurant just across the street. A common kitchen with good equipment. Good breakfast served by a wonderfully friendly Saami lady. Varanger Saami museum is just a couple of hundred meters away by the Arctic Sea. The seascape is like a dream come true. At the hall there is a foto & text exhibition about a meeting of two cultures in 19th century Saamiland by a Saami artist. Loved it! I warmly recommend 8 Seasons. <3

“Most enjoyable!”

The breakfast was self service, but it was available around the clock. Everything (and more) that we expected was available. The Sápmi culture was nicely presented in signs, texts, decorations and pictures.
