I like there hospitality how they welcome and how they treat

“Very convenient location, hospitable and friendly”

This is the second time I've stayed in this place. Very convenient location, hospitable and friendly host and staff. Nice large rooms, hot water, air conditioning, fan, sockets. There is something to do in the evenings if you prefer to stay at the hotel. Lots of activities. Somit also opens educational centers for children. which is very generous and heartfelt and adds to the benefits of this whole place.

They asked us to change our room to another property at night around 10pm, and that was far from the original location.

Great location and lots of help with transfers etc

The behavior of the staff and manager there is very good and friendly

Location was good

Very bad. The road to the house is crooked. If you have to go at night, it can be a lot of trouble. The bathroom is very small. There is no place even to stand.

“Guest house and social project”

Somit is friendly and helpful. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed the position, as it's close to the main ghat and right in the middle of the northern and southern part of Varanasi. If you wish, they offer many services (guided personalized tours, courses etc). We appreciated that the owner also run a school for children in need, if you feel like giving them lessons you can also ask Somit to help as a volunteer.

“Great experience in the heart of Varanasi’s windy adventurous lanes”

Great location walking distance to the main ghats, very nice owner Somit and his family, he can teach you yoga and various things. The double room had a/c and a fan hot water which was very welcome after a sweaty day exploring the ghats They also serve food which was very tasty, and have some seating on the rooftop where there’s some plants. You can help teach the street children that come most days for a lesson if you have some ideas, which I unfortunately didn’t get time to do but can imagine would be quite rewarding.

“Dissapointing”

I stayed in the shared dorm and the place is very dirty No AC only ceiling fans i dont think the bedding has been washed in a long time. No privacy .was booked in for 5 nites but bailed on the second day .tucked away up a back street and not far from the river.i certainly would NOT recommendo

Good position and good vibes

I liked the Roof garden with plants

It’s a great value for money stay close to all the (tourist) attractions. Also, what made it especially better as compared to other budget hostels, is that a part of this hostel is turned into a free school for local children in the evening. It’s a great initiative to improve the livelihoods of the community.

Good hot en suite shower & quite comfortable bed. Friendly owners. The morning boat trip with China was excellent.

Only the staff is good as they were talking nicely. I was staying in dormitory however it was like hospital bad and the location is also not good.
