I love Shiva Lodge - the beautiful traditional Varanasi Haveli is so full of character and charm, and the manager, Pinky is such a warm and welcoming person - feels like home in ancient Varanasi! And the terrace views are stunning :)

It was the best stay. The lodge is very close to Ghaat, it hardly takes 5 mins. The room and washroom were clean. Overall, I think this is the stay you'd find near the Ghaats.

I had a wonderful stay in Varanasi. The room was extremely clean and well-maintained, with great attention to hygiene. The owners were very supportive and responsive—whenever I needed anything, they were quick to help. The best part is the location. It is very close to Ganga Tripura Bhairavi Ghat, Kashi Vishwanath Temple, and Manikarnika Ghat, which made everything easily accessible. The terrace view is absolutely breathtaking—I honestly can’t put into words how beautiful the ghats look from there. On top of that, the rent is very economical compared to other places in the area. Thank you for giving me such wonderful memories!

Pinky and family were so helpful and accomodating, I felt really welcome even though I was only there for one day Great views from the roof, and it's a proper old house none of your flat white walls and that Seems like a good way to meet other people too, I wasn't there long enough to talk much And lively and simple, and clean And a lot of mad stuff going on in the tiny street below, at any time of the day or night made it all the more exciting.

It is run by the most beautiful family. Pinky, her sister, her mom and their brothers will make you feel part of their family and make you feel at home from the first minute. It is 4th time I stay with them. Now they are like an extension of my family. It is like staying in one of those old local homes at the the foot’s of the Ganga between the best ghats, the market and all the magic spots of Varanasi. They will help you with anything Train, yoga, massages, local food, wherever you need. Can’t wait to stay here again. The terrace is incredible to do yoga, read or meditate while you oversee the Ganga 🫶🏽I hope you have the most beautiful stay with them
