This stay was absolutely fantastic, the staff were so helpful and accommodating and made me feel so welcome. The room was great with a comfortable bed and a lovely balcony. The restaurant on the rooftop serves delicious food and the location of the property is very central with everything in walking distance. Couldn't have asked for any better, the best place I have stayed in India.

Very central location, most things were in walkable distance. The hospitality was exceptional. The host and staff couldn’t do enough to help me. Drinking water was provided and they even packed me some snacks to take for my train trip. It was a very comfortable stay.

The host was really nice and helpful. We changed the room, and they themselves offered us the reduced price. Very friendly people overall.

I had a wonderful stay at Sandhya Guest House in Varanasi. The property is conveniently located within walking distance of Shivala Ghat, which makes exploring the ghats and the city very easy. The host, Mr. Devashish Roy, is extremely warm, welcoming, and truly makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. His hospitality is one of the highlights of the stay. The food options available at the property are delicious, simple, and comforting, very much like home-cooked meals. The overall services at the guest house are also very good—everything is well managed, clean, and thoughtfully taken care of. “Great Stay”

The Guest house is at great location, transportation is easily available just outside the guest house. Nearby you can have everything of your need, from good food to banarasi saree to malaiyo...everything thats on ones to do list. Assi, Chet singh ghats are at walkable distances. Their services are very good.. from picking up from station to helping you buy good sarees and also guiding you along the trip. Debashis and Gautam are gem, always ready to help and guide...too soft spoken. Value for money. Recommended 👍👍👍

The place is very centrally located. Close to the ghats and to travel to any place auto are available. The staff and Debashish (owner) and his son are extremely warm and address every issue that you have. The water was super hot and especially needed in cold weather to make you feel relaxed after so much walking to see the city. .

Behavior of all the staffs is very very polite and good. We feel as we are in our own home. Food is also good and homely.

Excellent place to stay. The property is very central to everything and a close walk to some of the ghats. The owner and manager are absolute gems with assistance and knowledge of the area I had a late check in for the early hours of the morning due to a delayed train arrival and was not a problem for them. Will be back

Great location, helpful staff, good value for money!

The team from Sandhya made us feel very, very welcome! We really appreciated the free access to bottled water and how helpful and supportive the staff was in providing us the right contacts and recommendations during our stay. But most we appreciated how personal they made our stay, celebrating my birthday in Varanasi with an unique cake made for me on the day - still left me feeling really special and much more than a guest. Also the location is great, as it is not right in the intense and busy centre of the city, nevertheless very close to the Ganga and all important sites. Highly recommend the facilities and staff of Sandhya Guesthouse!
