“Excellent budget alternative”
Its a guesthouse so don't expect 5 star luxury but the room, linnen and bathroom was very clean and the location is just by the ghats on one side and shopping on the other.

“Cozy and nice stay”
I liked Guesthouse. Single bedroom, clean bathroom, dustbin placed and even room was clean. Neat and clean bedsheet and towel. Quilt was also good enough to help in winter.

The homestay stay is in an excellent location. The Ghats are a very short walk away. It is clean and comfortable. Sonu, the owner is a lovely man who made us feel very welcome.

“The perfect place to stay in Varanasi!”
Marigold Guest House is absolutely the perfect place to stay in Varanasi. The place is clean and very looked after. I booked the single room, which was not super big but clean and very cosy, equipped with the necessary, bed was comfortable, bathroom was spacious, tidy with hot water. There are so many books at the entrance and a pleasant couch where you can read and relax. From the rooftop you have a beautiful view of the Ganga and the city and Sonu organizes super nice yoga lessons. Position is great, in a quiet and so colourful street, only two minutes walk from the main ghats and close to a lot of nice restaurants and temples. Very good valute for money. Sonu, the manager, is the best host in the world! He is so helpful, giving you great advices and tips, he really cares about the guests and to make an enjoyable stay for them. He also offers sunrise and sunset boat tour to see the beauty of Varanasi from the river. I will go back for sure for my next trip to Varanasi. Definitely recommended! :)

“Shabby, unwelcoming but in the old city and in a not too noisy location”
The location is in the old city which can be hard to access with luggage as it must be walked in some distance, but this is what we were seeking.

“Clean hotel, good location”
Location is great - just off Bangala Tola and very close to the ghats. Lots of good places to eat round there. My room was very clean. Sonu, the host, works hard to make it an enjoyable stay.
