The house is well located near the Assi gaht. The place is clean, comfortable and has a good vibe. Sona and her family are very nice people!

This was my first stay in any accommodation in India and I must say I had a great time here. Sona is a sweet hospitable lady and will help you with anything. Shower is good and my room was clean. The guest house provides a lot of services from laundry, taxis, cooking lessons etc.

“Lovely homestay”

Sana and her family were incredibly welcoming and immediately made us feel at home. Sana was extremely informative, providing us with a map and helpful information about Varanasi and she even organised a sunset boat tour along the Ganges for us, which was definitely a highlight for us. The food was absolutely delicious and although Sana offers cooking classes, our tight budget meant we sadly couldn’t join one (though we would have loved to!). She greeted us with complimentary chai on arrival and even treated us to a free dinner in celebration of her husband’s birthday, which was such a thoughtful thing to do. Her home truly felt like a peaceful nest, a calm retreat from the chaos of Varanasi outside. We couldn’t recommend her homestay highly enough - a wonderful lady and a truly lovely family.

The atmosphere is warm, homely, and very pleasant, perfect for relaxing and feeling comfortable. Everything is clean, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully arranged, which creates a calm and peaceful environment. The food is exquisite, prepared with love and great quality — definitely one of the highlights of my stay. .

“Perfect Guesthouse to explore nearby Ghats & Varanasi”

I really enjoied my time at Azure Guesthouse. It's very good situatet near the Assi Ghat & lots of local shops. My room was just perfect for my time of 8 nights, gave me rest after pulsing days in the city. Loved also the rooftop to practise my daily Yoga. Did a cookingclass with Sona & really recommend it - local food at its best with selfmade spicies !! I would come back allways. Sona take warmly care of her guests, i felt very welcome.

Nice guesthouse close to Assi Ghat, at walking distance from Ganga river. Sona and her family have been kind and helpful. The room has all the basics, the bed is comfortable and they provided extra blanket (we visited in December). There is a terrace on the top, food and other services on request. We'll be back!

The property is close to the Assi Ghat, which offers plenty of restaurants and sights. The homestay is clean and comfortable, and the host, Sona, helped me organise a walking tour with Monu Tours. The cost was very reasonable for my stay.

“Lovely and nice”

We had a beautifull time at Azure. Sona is the most warm and kind person imaginable and makes your experience of Varanasi so much better. She has great tips, good advice and is super helpfull. She arranged us a boat trip and it was worth it. She also offers cooking classes. The location is also great, really close to Asi Ghat and all the morning and evening activities.

“First nights in Varanasi”

Good location near Assi Ghat, away from the mayhem of Varanasi old city hostels. Pleasant family, very comfy bed. Good ceiling fan. Sona is helpful and honest. Makes a change from a lot of the rip offs happening during the lead up to Shivaratri. Wish we had booked for longer!

We had a wonderful stay in the guesthouse of Sona and her family. Sona treated us like a mother when we were far from home. She is the best cook and our room was good and clean. When we think about Varanasi we will always think about Sona too. Thank you so much ✨

Staying here feels less like being at a guest house and more like being welcomed into someone’s home. The rooms are clean, and the shower has hot water. Just keep in mind, that if you have large luggage, the room size might feel a little tight. It’s an experience that leaves you with lasting memories of Varanasi’s hospitality and charm.
