Located close to the centre of Vannes and not far from the train station, this friendly hotel is perfect for a stopover when travelling through Brittany. “We won’t be back and could not recommend.”
Lovely staff, good breakfast. The room was not the one I ordered. The carpet was dirty, the paint and plaster was peeling off. It needed a deep clean. We had visited a campanile about twenty years ago and it was delightful. This place bore no resemblance. We should have left on seeing our room.

“Exterior deceiving; looks basic, BUT it has almost everything one needs! Enjoyed very much!”
It was a great place to stay for the night. When we first drove up we wondered what we had booked -it seemed to be on the edge of an industrial type zone and quite basic. We need not have worried at all. The room itself was 'plain' to look at (no fancy decorations or wall hangings, etc) BUT it had ALL the important things a kettle, coffee, sugar, tea, milk (yes, milk), cups, spoons, etc. It had a mini fridge. It had a wardrobe with a shelf and hangars, etc. It had an extra pillow (many haven't had so hubby was a happy lad). It has a big en-suite with a big shower and bench space above the sink, below a large mirror for toiletries (which were provided). Has a really big desk in the room which we use for spreading out all our electrical gear as well a making sandwiches, our tea/coffee etc. Lots of power points at both the desk, at each side of the bed and in the room and bathroom. Free internet worked well. And a clothing rack. And full length mirror. And a king bed. And side tables with lamps (and extra power points each side as mentioned). And black out shutters for sleeping. Room clean. As it was on the edge of town it is much better if you have a vehicle (car, motorbike, bicycle, etc). We had a rental car. There were a lot of cyclists staying and they thought it was a great location for them. Parking is onsite and outside your accoms (we were on second floor and the veranda part in front of our room looked directly down on our car. It was super quiet for sleeping. They have a restaurant onsite. The reception staff were very helpful and welcoming. We would stay here again if ever in this area of France.

“We’ve stayed in Campaniles many times, so we knew what to expect. We didn’t expect the restaurant to be closed at weeken”
Rooms were getting a little run down and dated, but were clean and tidy. Reception area was spacious and clean. Staff friendly and helpful.

“You won't be disappointed if you are used to staying at these chain hotels.”
The hotel is conveniently located for exploring the region. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room has everything you need. Cleaning was done daily. The steel sheet that lay on the roadway rattled and warned of every passing car. You won't miss anyone. Very convenient.
