Extremely beautiful, remote cabin. The owner is great. We were able to use the fireplace, which made the aurora watching all the more beautiful. He even texted us to let us know when they are out! The house by itself is comfy and you get what you need. If I return to Senja on day, i hope I can return.

Our stay at this apartment was nothing short of exceptional! The location perfectly lived up to its name, offering the peaceful, remote setting we were looking for. With minimal light pollution, the sight of the northern lights was absolutely breathtaking as they danced across the sky. Though compact, the cabin is thoughtfully designed and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable and pleasant stay. The check-in process was seamless, with perfectly clear and thorough instructions provided by our host, Dag-Andre. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the warm woolen socks provided were a delightful touch, making relaxing in the cabin even cozier. It’s worth noting that traveling light is advisable, as the space is limited and best suited for minimal luggage. Dag-Andre was exceptional. He went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Despite inclement weather, he travelled quite a long way to bring us essential groceries and food when we found ourselves under-prepared. He also proactively showed us the well-equipped barbecue hut on the premises, which we used as a comfortable base to set up our cameras while staying protected from the biting cold winds. The deck right by the ocean was perfect for capturing stunning photos.

“Great cabin in a beautiful location”

A beautiful, practical cabin, in which the space has been very well utilised. It is well equipped, and has all the facilities most will need. The heated floors in the hallway were nice. Really lovely bathroom. The view and the surroundings are beautiful, and we really appreciated how private and secluded it was - on our second morning we woke up to the sight several moose chewing on branches not far from the cabin. The hosts are very friendly, and they were quick to answer. All in all, we had a great stay, and feel very comfortable recommending it to others.

Beautiful views, clean apartment with a fully equipped kitchen. Couldn’t ask for more! We spotted wild reindeers on the drive in too:) recommended!

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. Dag-Andre was very nice, communicative and welcoming. The place is very calm and peaceful, perfect to relax. We’ve been able to see reindeers nearby and visit Senja island which is very beautiful !

“Absolutely stunning place & absolutely perfect host”

The cabin is situated in a beautiful location, within a reasonable distance from the neighbours. It is a great place for people who want to relax away from the most crowded places, while at the same time the nearest town where you can find all amenities (including well-stocked shops) is quite close (a distance of about 30 kilometres). The cabin itself is very comfortable, has amenities that make your stay easier (e.g. washing machine, internet access ), but also make it more pleasant (fireplace inside and outside the building). I stayed in the house in winter and despite the frost outside - inside the cabin was very warm and cozy. The area around the cabin is great - a lot of space wonderfully developed by the host – Dag-Andre. Dag-Andre also made available to me a small barbecue hut down by the sea - it was a super nice gesture and a great surprise that I did not expect. The hut is a great place to relax and also a great place to warm up while watching the Northern Lights. Dag-Andre is a great host - he answered questions very quickly, suggested interesting ideas for spending time, took care of the comfort of his guests. I highly recommend this place to everyone who is looking for peace and quiet and wants to relax in beautiful surroundings (in the company of reindeers and elks, especially elks :)) It is also a great place to observe the northern lights, with beautiful views at the cabin itself, but also in the surrounding area. To sum up - only 10 points can be awarded, but the place and the host deserve 20 :) Dag-Andre - Thank you for a great stay and warm welcome!
