“A long way from the town with no good transport options.”

The villas were fine and the beds were comfortable. Water refill was good to help reduce plastic waste. Coffee making facilities and fruit are available at the reception. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order with a couple of choices. If you have tour owners transport and are not planning to stay much in the accommodation this may be a good base.

“Very lovely and peaceful stay”

It was a beautiful area and the staff were amazing. We had food poisoning while we were there and they were amazing to cater for us and ensure we were okay - beautiful cabins and a great space for a peaceful getaway. The location is a bit out of the city but they assist you with hiring scooters or getting taxis if needed. Highly recommend!

The staff tried their best. They helped with Tuktuk to the city and organising motorbikes for us.

“Beautiful villa”

The Villa is about 2 km from center. and if you want to get there, you can easily take a taxi. the villa area is spacious and peaceful with plenty of greenery. the bungalows're set close together with a large pool in the middle offering a beautiful view. in the evening you can take a walk around the grounds which feel very relaxing. it is a great option for someone who looking for a place staying close to nature.

“Did not meet our expectations, bad value for money”

The accomodation itself was clean, comfortable and spacious. Location was quiet and had cute dogs running around.

Very friendly staff and cool villas. They had a cute dog, and they offer tours from the hotel. They helped us a lot, when i got food poisoning from a restaurant i the city.

It was very calm at garden villa, a nice place to relax. You can easily walk down to the river and take a refreshing swim there. Bungalows are spacious and very clean. The staff was super helpful and fulfilled everything we asked for. They even went to buy a kettle to lend it to us, and handpicked bananas from the garden when they were finished in the markets. Overall a great experience!

“So peaceful and cosy in garden villa !”

This place was so lovely! We extended our stay here because it was so peaceful and quiet here! I really wanted to stay even longer as felt very comfortable in Garden Villa . Staff was lovely and very helpful Breakfast was good and beds were huge and very comfortable

Excellent place to stay outside of the town with wonderful views of the mountains, big rooms in detached chalets. But most of all the manager (Kop) and staff (Not and Kan - apologies for any misspelling) were extremely helpful, with Kop always happy to help and taking exceptional care of guests - that rare thing, a true host. It was a good place to work for me - with breaks in the small but nice pool (again with a great view). Can't recommend enough if you want a restful place out of the (let's face it not stunning) town.

“Quiet place”

Really nice and quiet place , if you plan to rent a scooter it’s perfect to be not far from the river and 5 minutes from the town . Good breakfast and good wifi . Owner give us a ride to the train station too !

We stayed at Vang Vieng Garden Villa for 3 nights. The positive experience started with a complimentary pick-up from the train station. The bungalow was clean and of good size and the shower was hot. The 5 bungalows are in a quiet area about 3.5 km north of Vang Vieng. The staff is very helpful and arranged motorcycle hire for us. They can also assist with purchase of train tickets and hire of kayaks. Overall it was a very pleasant stay and we recommend staying at Vang Vieng Garden Villa.
