Overview
Located in a quiet garden setting, Sansan Resort is a 5-minute walk across the old airfield to the main street of Vang Vieng, as well as the night market. Free WiFi access is available in the restaurant. The resort is a 5-minute drive from Na Song River. It is a 30-minute drive from Phou Kham Cave. Wattay Airport is a 3-hr drive away. Fitted with wooden flooring, air-conditioned rooms come with a TV, a fan and en suite bathroom. The resort is equipped shaded hammock, luggage storage and laundry service for guests’ convenience. Other services offered include information on local tours and bus services, as well as mountain bike rentals. Guests can enjoy Thai and Laos cuisines at the on-site restaurant.

It was nice to have a pool area and a big balcony with the room - great for drying clothes. Bike rental is available through the property, although we didn’t use this.

We had a superior double with a balcony and it was perfect. The best thing about the resort is definitely the staff though - literally ever person we met or spoke to was kind, charming and attentive.

“Never again”
The property was very dated and lacking maintenance. The bed was terrible, you could feel the springs in the mattress and the sheet had holes in it. The air con noisy and rattled all night. The gardens were overgrown and had a lot of litter in them.

It is a big garden property with rural land over the fence which was nice . Down a drive off a very dusty main rd that takes all the trucks past town ..about 7 min walk to main st of town ..
