“Lovely place to stay, away from city center.”

I loved to stay at Maylyn guesthouse and will defenitly stay there again if visiting Vang Vieng. It's a little bit out town but still on walking distance to the town. You're in a quite and green environment. The domain is beautiful, with luscious nature and beautiful mountain view. The rooms are sober and decent and have all you need. There are some sweet cats on the domain to protect you :) The ladies working there are very kind and will help you out.

Great location. A little out of town but only a short walk from the centre (or tuk tuk ride) but the view from the veranda was amazing. Vang Vieng is a party town so nowhere is really quiet but this was relatively quiet and you could hear the frogs at night.

“A true taste of slow down jungle life”

Lovely little cottages in a big garden secluded from road traffic with balcony facing out on the jungle. Wonderful family and staff. Great Kiwi kitchen cafe and a coffee lunch shop. Easy access to town across foot bridge. Delightful pause from all the action.

“Ok but not the best”

They had to give a another room because ours was not ready for a the first night and will everything was good for the second room we had, the first was really bad (don’t think it’s was use in a long time), but we didn’t pay for it ! But the second room was good, more clean and with a view !

I loved the staff, they were very helpful especially Pom , the daughter of the owner.

Beautiful property away from the touristic epicentre, as peaceful as Vang Vieng allows. Huge, comfortable bed and fantastic balcony with great view and comfortable chair to recline on.

Set just outside of the centre in beautiful grounds Maylyn is a lovely spot to enjoy Vang Vieng. 15 mins walk into the centre.

“Amazing location for nature lovers!”

Nestled in a tropical garden, the location of our room was spectacular and the owners and staff were very friendly. Just across the river from the main town with stunning views of the surrounding mountains, this guesthouse is just a short walk from shops and restaurants, so a perfect location to enjoy all that Vang Vieng has to offer, and a great price. We had air conditioning and a fan in the room, so easy to stay cool, and the bed was clean and comfortable.

Joe and Maylyn have done a fantastic job creating a picturesque property with gardens and bungalows. We intended on staying 4 nights, and stayed for 6! It was a very relaxing spot with beautiful scenery.

The price is really good for the room. Just don’t recommend the bungalow as they are very hot and no AC. Simple but good.
