For me Is not the first time in this hotel . When I've to go in Vänersborg , I choose strand hotel because is nice and confortable, with resonable price för a hotel room. The breakfast is as well very good.

We've been here for the 6th time and it was pleasurable as always; I can only repeat: - very friendly and kind staff - inner garden (lovely to have breakfast) - terrace in front with café - shops and restaurants in walking distance - perfect starting point for many trips in the area

Nice location, big and clean room, excellent breakfast. Very nice staff, we felt very welcome. They even prepared the breakfast earlier in the weekend because they knew we had to leave early :)

The staff is extremely kind and available, every need is always taken care of even outside reception hours (towels and toiletry are always available at the front desk) The breakfast offers a lot of options and it is continuously refilled during the breakfast time window.

“Lovely overnight stop in a great location”

The hotel was perfectly located on the canal side with plenty of parking nearby and a short walk to town. Check in was easy and there were hot drinks and biscuits available. The room had everything we needed and the laundry was crisp and clean. Breakfast in the cute dining room was plentiful and with a wide choice of hot and cold items. All the staff, especially Mariah on reception at check in were all helpful and friendly.

Nice breakfast, clean and silent rooms. The staff provided us with some treats for our dog upon arrival.

The hotel is a little one but very nice and comfortable, the room was perfect with a lot of space, nice bathroom. Is located very close to the city centre If I'll travel again in Vänersborg I'll sleep again there. The breakfast was as well very good for all kinds of different tastes.

Husband loved breakfast. I loved bed. We came to town for hearing aid appointment. We appreciated help with parking gadget for dashboard that we did not have. Warmth of owner/manager who spoke good English.

Breakfast was extremely good, nice variety. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Nice location, in walking distance to restaurants and a cute little lake walk. The room itself was average. But everything was extremely clean.
