“Filthy”
Room was filthy. I cleaned floor and vanity cuz I already paid so probably wouldn’t get a refund. When checking out told clerk at desk. He wasn’t too concerned because I booked with booking.com. Also asked for a discount and again said was booked with booking.com. Also called booking he said would look into it but never heard anything

Bed clean; bathroom very clean. Bed comfortable. Enormous fridge in room. Microwave and ironing board. Breakfast good. Overall ambience and value for money both OK.

“Great Price, Kind staff”
We stopped here mainly rest, not "walk around or sight-see", but Days Inn Wyndam Van Horn was a great pick. Price was awesome, continental breakfast was simple but kindly provided, room was relatively clean (older building). I left my makeup bag there by accident, and luckily they had it when we stopped by two days later in tact, so I'm very thankful to the workers there. My family and I were very comfortable and had a good night's rest. Van Horn is a city where there are a lot of commuters coming in and leaving (especially workers in the trucking industry, but there were also a many families in this hotel as well (Spring Break time), just make sure to stay together if you have children (common sense). Van Horn is a city where you stop to rest, not really to sight-see although areas like Marfa, Big Bend, McDonald Observatory, Davis/Guadalupe Mountain are nearby. Days Inn Van Horn is a great place to rest before you go onto your next adventure. Sunrises in Van Horn are beautiful.
