“Lovely peaceful getaway”

The perfect choice for those seeking privacy and quiet; a small but funcional finca rural with plenty of well-arranged outdoor space. Located on a green slope, no neighbours, no busy roads, just birds and goats, and the two resident cats (very polite, but as the previous reviews indicate, be prepared for their company). The kitchen is fully equipped. The hosts, Hector and Maria, are lovely friendly people; communication was very good. I appreciate that the fridge wasn't empty on my arrival, thank you! :) Not far from Valverde (a nice walk) so even managable without a car for eager walkers - but of course it's better to have one.

Beautiful quite home with great outdoor area and the most amazing sunrise views. Feels like coming home as the casa is very well equipped, clean and comfy and absolute quite. Muchas gracias to the most friendly and caretaking hosts Hector and Maria.

“Exceptional accommodation”

We loved our stay at La Chusmita. The hosts, Hector and Maria, made us feel incredibly welcome. They thought of everything to make our visit special; their warm greeting, meticulous attention to detail and the fresh fruit, wine, and quesadillas waiting for us were much appreciated. The accommodation was fantastic; it was spotlessly clean and had amazing facilities given the remote location: washing machine; WiFi, oven, satellite television, and private pool. Tucked away on the mountainside, the location is tranquil and idyllic. Goats regularly stop in the gardens to have a drink and we were entertained by the resident cat family. The outside space is vast and there are plenty of places to sit and enjoy the sea views or spot the goats on their travels. There are lots of hiking routes in the area and Valverde is just a 30 minute walk away. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at La Chusmita and hope to return for a longer stay.

Hector and family were very helpful. The location was so peaceful a real..get away from it all! The island was great for exploring, swimming and walking. No litter anywhere!

Everything exceeded our expectations. The owners of the home are such lovely and attentive people. All the small details made the home as a whole so Wonderful. Local products were also gifted to us which was so thoughtful. The house is situated inside a beautiful ravine with astonishing views everywhere you look. This is the perfect place to connect with mother nature. Swimming in the pool made the stay more wonderful as we enjoyed the views Infront of us. There are no neighbors around which gives you enough privacy to enjoy your stay. There is also a BBQ area with seats and tables around the property which we really enjoyed. 2 night stay was not enough, we wish we could stay longer but we will definitely come back.
