Gaby is an exceptional host and shows great attention to detail. The Casa El Hondillo is out of the centre of Valverde but with the log fire keeping the living and upstairs bedroom warm it was not an issue.

Great location with an awesome view towards La Gomera and Tenerife. Loved the place!!!! The house is outstanding, clean and spacious, and the host is kind, helpful and a nice lady - thank you for the fruits!!!

“Great”
Well located in Valverde, a good starting point for any destination in El Hierro. The house is quiet and just 10 min walk to Valverde centre. It has a beautiful view and the house, while comfortable, has maintained the character of traditional Hierro houses.

“First visit to El Hiero for walking holiday. Very enjoyable although weather a litle cool.”
Quiet location on the edge of Valverde. OK without a car but 1k walk uphill to town centre and bus station. Great for walking using good bus services.

The house was clean, the parking good, the beds compfy. Gabi, the host, was great, she was very friendly and supplied us with milk and coffee to start our visit. That was very nice and made us feel special.
