La Luge exceeded our expectations!! Forced to change our plans at the last minute we contacted La Luge and asked if we could bring our booking forward by two nights. This was done without hesitation even though we realised afterwards that our new arrival date would have involved changes to staff rosters. Thank you to everyone at La Luge who made our stay possible, especially the charming woman who looked after us. :) It is an extremely well appointed small alpine lodge in a truly picturesque setting. Outside you look up the valley to mountains and the Matterhorn. La Luge has everything we like when travelling starting with a well design room layout with room for suitcases; a very comfy bed with good quality bed linen; a clean and well maintained building; and a spacious bathroom with plenty of hot water.

Breakfast is excellent. Location is wonderful, 5 km from the frenetic village of Corvinia and lots of ski lifts, rentals, etc. Very quiet. Located within a short drive of ski lifts in both directions. Staff multi-lingual and very helpful. Restaurant is small, quiet, with excellent food and a great wine selection. Hotel is much less expensive than places in the village of Corvinia, but still not for the faint of heart. Easy 2.5 hour drive from Milan. World class spring skiing, and lots of areas/trail for hiking in the Alps.

All the property view and connection to the nature. It's a wonderful scenario followed by a place that offers a comfort and peace that your body and mind deserve.

Everything was perfect. Comfortable beds, excellent breakfast, friendly family run b&b in the best location I’ve ever seen. The most idyllic setting with wildlife literally on the doorstep. I will make sure we get to return!
