There are places you visit, and there are places that stay with you long after you've left. This is one of the latter. The view over the Umbrian hills is simply breathtaking, and the peaceful atmosphere encourages you to slow down and enjoy every moment. We truly appreciated the thoughtful room upgrade offered by our hosts, a gesture that made us feel genuinely welcome from the very first day. The homemade food prepared with care by the family, the local wine enjoyed at sunset, the authentic agriturismo atmosphere, and the warmth of the people turn every evening into a beautiful memory. Trili, the lovely family dog, and the charming Scottish Highland cows with their iconic fringes add even more character to this special place. And as for Papa... sometimes a place is defined by its landscape, other times by the people who call it home. Those who meet him will understand. A special mention also goes to Francesco and Ada, whose attention to detail, kindness, and genuine hospitality transform a stay into a truly authentic experience. It is easy to see that everything they have created here has been built with passion and a deep respect for people. We arrived as guests and left feeling as though we had been welcomed into a family. A place built with hard work, passion, and heart—one that we recommend wholeheartedly.

The truth is, I really don't know where to start. From this warm family that takes care of you even after you leave? From this perfect place that was built with two hands and great love ? From the beautiful rooms and the comfortable bed? From the breathtaking panoramic view? The amazing breakfast with all the pastries, cheeses, sausages that are all homemade ? Or sitting around the campfire after dinner? Everything was more than perfect. Dear Francesco ,Ada and sweet Anna, we felt like family with you. We have never felt this way in any accommodation. You have entered our hearts.

We were welcomed as we arrived by Francesco and Anna and made to feel part of the family. We were offered a wonderful homemade evening meal made with local produce from the farm and locality, excellent! The rural location was fantastic and the dining tables overlooked the beautiful Apennine hills. The evenings were exceptional with deckchairs around a firepit and glowworms in the field adjacent. The accommodation was spacious and comfy. Overall amazing we would loved to go back.

“A gem of Umbria”

We truly couldn’t be happier with our stay here. From the moment we arrived until the sad day that we left, we felt incredibly warmly and generously welcomed by Francesco and his family. We came with two children of 6 and 9, and were always made to feel like we were treasured guests. Just amazing the kindness we felt here. This really is a genuine agriturismo, where they bring up animals and use the surrounding area for cultivating plants, fruits etc. And everything served at dinner is produced on the farm. 10/10.

The host (actually family) is excellent and the dinner(I strongly recommend you to try) is delicious. The location is above the hill but you can easily find out. It gives the very very nice view on the valley.

A special place in the nature of the Umbrian region. For those looking for peace and a real hospitality experience, especially recommended for families with children who love to travel in nature and are not looking for a touristy place. Ada and Francesco are exemplary hosts - especially warm. Also recommend the excellent pizza evening! The place is simple but clean and warm and in a convenient location on the one hand but isolated on the other. They raise everything themselves and you can see the animals and cattle. It feels like hospitality is their soul. On a cold day we wanted to play cards with the children in the apartment and they quickly bought us a table to enhance the experience. We were very happy to discover this special place and we would love to return. A convenient place for stargazing and hiking trails

This family farm is situated in a wonderful place, surrounded only by nature. Our hosts were really kind persons, they helped us with advises what to see around and took care nothing to be missed. We really liked the home made food, the kindness and hope to come back again.

We had an amazing time staying with Francesco, Ada, Anna and the whole family! We went with our dog and the place is absolutely dog friendly. Our dog had the best time, we did too. Everyone was so kind and the place is incredible. The view is magical. The room is super clean and Ada takes care of it daily. Anna showed us all the animals at the farm. It was so fun. We had amazing dinners; so much good food, wine and grappa! Ada is an excellent cook. There are also lots of nice towns to visit. We are impressed by the whole ambience of this place and the kindness of the family. They make you feel at home. We are definitely coming back! We're missing the family and the place already. We recommend this place to everyone! Go, you won't regret it. It's beautiful!!

My recent stay at Covo del Solengo with my girlfriend and two toddlers was an absolute dream come true. From the moment we arrived until the time we reluctantly said our goodbyes, we were embraced with open arms into this family-run bed-and-breakfast, making us feel like an extension of their own kin. The family-friendly atmosphere at Covo del Solengo is unparalleled. Our little ones were over the moon with excitement as they discovered the plethora of activities available to them. The trampoline, football field, and swimming pool kept them endlessly entertained, and I must admit, even the adults found themselves joining in on the fun. What truly sets Covo del Solengo apart is their genuine love for nature and farm life. The food served was an absolute delight, and it warmed our hearts to know that the ingredients were sourced straight from their own farm. Ada's culinary magic continued to amaze us, and every meal was a testament to the bountiful harvest of their land. The farm-to-table experience added a unique touch to the meals, making them not only delicious but also an authentic representation of the region's flavors. The conversations we had with Francesco and his father were enlightening and enriching. It was evident that the entire operation at Covo del Solengo was a labor of love and a true family affair. Listening to their stories about running the farm, the heritage of the place, and the love they pour into their business gave us a deeper appreciation for our stay. It felt like we were living a piece of their family history, and it created a meaningful connection that transcended the typical guest-host relationship. The picturesque mountain views and the comfortable accommodations provided a serene backdrop to our unforgettable family vacation.
